Storm tsked. "He shouldn't go so long, not at his age. I can, uh... I can help." She glanced down, her ears back a little and her lips pulled into a respectful smile. She was very wolf-like in her actions, and viewed Scarlet as superior in rank. She acted solely on instinct, and it made Grim watch her closely. He was curious as to how she came about to act the way she did.

Kanuga leaped at Scarlet, biting at her paws. His teeth were sharp, and much larger than a pup's his age. He swatted at her legs, making little playful chuffing sounds. Storm walked over to a large rabbit and ate, wanting to keep her strength up for the task ahead.
