Colbolt stopped outside the den and lay down watching the stars dance through the skies

sparxs watched him in one eye and got up carefully "stay here" he whispered in pipers ear. he walked up to colbolt. "you know, when i was about 2 months maybe 3 months old my mum used to tell me a story every night before i went to sleep. she would say to me 'When daddy goes to far, i will be a star, shining high above the rest, the brightest, the greatest the biggest, the best.' and she would repeat it until i fell asleep. i never really under stood, until that morning,i found my mother dead and im sure if you want to know more piper will tell you, but when i saw her there, i knew daddy had gone to far, so every night since there i would stare at the biggest star, that one there" he pointest to the biggest star "and mummble that till i go to sleep. She also would tell me that everyone of the family that is good goes up to the good place called heaven and they get there own star and the bad members go to the bad place called hell where they have to pay for the bad they did" he finished

"Your mom sounds nice too bad she's gone my dad left my mom after he found out she was having pups" he said looking up at the stars

"this isnt a discuion you should talk to me about" he looked in pipers direction "your sister has been through a bit more than you know of" he replied turning back to him

"I'll talk to her tomorrow right now I think she's dead asleep" he looked at his sister and then at the sky which was flashing with colors "the northern lights" he muttered
