Stoatfur sat next to Aquafeather and began chewing the coltsfoot. "Here, give me our paw." He mewed once he spat the poultice onto a broad leaf.

He looked at Aquafeather, noticing the look on her face. "They'll find it and come back in no time, I know they will." He mewed, trying to reassure her.

Aquafeather nodded as she gave Stoatfur her paws"I know, it's just that..... I'm worried." She replied and then decided to ask,"Do you think Sunsetkit will make it till they get back? Be honest with me, Stoatfur." The silver queen meowed, her ice blue eyes looking at the medicine cat.

Stoatfur scooped up some of the poultice and began rubbing it into Aquafeather's paw. He listened to her talk, only looking up when she asked if he thought Sunsetkit was going to survive.

"Sunsetkit is strong for her age. I have a strong feeling that this sickness won't kill her." He mewed. "Until they get back, I will do everything in my power to keep Sunsetkit and the others alive."

The warrior nodded. "I'm ready to go! I think we only need to wait for Cherryflame, Coconutpaw, and Gingerpelt." She flicked her thick, fluffy tail and sat down, looking over at her mate with startling yellow eyes.

Fallenstar looked over her cats and sighed. "I wonder which one would be a good mentor for you..." She whispered, not looking at the Tom.

Her eyes widened slightly, before she turned back to watch the camp. "I-I... I'm not quite sure... Maybe about eight or nine..." Fallenstar's head felt like it was spinning and her breathing began to get heavy again. The sickness is acting up again... She thought with a loud growl as her flanks heaved with effort.
