Bluesoul sat just outside the nursery to listen to Leafstar from there. Thunderkit rolled out of the den and sat near her paws.

"Well, it is nice-"She was cut off by Leafstar's call for the cats to gather. "We should go to the clan meeting. I mean this could be important. Lightheart said before walking under the (Whatever they have) and looking up at Leafstar.

NIghtwhisper held his head high, glancing up at Leafstar while he waited for everyone else.

Sparkpelt sat next to his mate, their pelts brushing against one another.

Bramblekit played with his littermate's tail.

Leafstar raised her voice so that all could hear. "I have many things to tell you." Her gaze flitted through the group until they rested on Forestpaw and Lightheart. "First off, I am sad to say that yet another cat has gone missing from our ranks. Stormberry has not been seen in 4 sunrises." She paused. "Her apprentice Forestpaw must have a new mentor. Lightheart will be his mentor until he either becomes a warrior or Stormberry returns."

Thunderkit turned and lept on top of his brother.

"She's not our leader for nothing." Sootflower laughed. "And she does a good job." Better than I could do, Sootflower thought. "It seems like it's been so quiet here lately," She said. "I hardly seem to see anyone anymore. I mean, everyone is missing..." She trailed off, realizing the insensitivity of her words. "I didn't mean that the way it sounded," she said, glancing over to see how Mysticwater would react. Hopefully she hadn't offended her. Being brusque was one of Sootflower's bad traits, and she knew it.

Mysticwater flinched at the she-cats words. Two of her siblings had disappeared. She flicked the sadness away with her tail and relaxed. "It's fine. I know what you meant." She mewed. She looked up as Leafstar started talking. She glanced over at Forestpaw as Leafstar declared Stormberry missing. "It must be hard." She murmured.

FeralClaw decided to go hunting after awhile, but didn't feel like bringing anyone with him. As he wandered into the forest, he began to wonder if there were any badgers or foxes nearby but hoped that there wasn't. After a while of walking FeralClaw noticed another cat just sitting there. As he got a bit closer, the long haired tom realised it was just Sandwhisker. FeralClaw smiled lightly and walked up to him. "Hello." He mewed raising his head.

Torn's attention went to the stronger scent of a Leafclan cat. He stayed on his tree limb careful not to let the wind blow his scent toward the cat's scent.

When Moon arrived at camp she padded back into the medicine den to have herbs ready in case of injury, or coughing.

Rose sat at the border of leafclan eating her squirrel contently.

Forestpaw nodded at Lightheart before joining her at the gathering. His amber eyes were fixed on his leader, and when she spoke of Lightheart being his mentor for he smiled at his leader then Lightheart.

Dovah sat and watched Leafstar as she spoke, but she followed her gaze till it rested on Lightheart and Forestpaw. His mentor went missing? Another cat missing? What's going on here?.

Lightpaw glanced at Dovah. Whatbwould she think when she found out about the cats disappearing? Lightpaw turned her gaze back to Leafstar as she started speaking again.

Leafstar waited for them to touch noses before raising her voice again. "This, however, is followed by wonderful news!" She paused to make sure that everyone was listening. "Three of our lost cats have returned. Nightwhisper, Sparkpelt, and Bramblekit." She nodded at each cat as she said their name.

Cheers erupted from the crowd below.

Nightwhisper looked out across the crowd and spotted his apprentice, flicking his tail. He planned to go out on the dusk patrol with her to get some training in. He was turning back to his more serious and dutiful side, now that Lightningpaw's training became more important.

Sparkpelt nuzzled into Bluesoul's fur, watching his kits play and half listening to his leader.

Bramblekit growled softly, his fur fluffing up.
