Russetleap nodded curtly in greeting as the apprentice raced over, since she was still on edge from Scarletfeather's words. She then turned back around to face Scarletfeather, and shot her another glare, before leading both Thorntail, and Larkpaw out of the camp before she could say anything else.

Spottedkit shurgged. "I dont know."

Larkpaw looked at Russetleap. "Do you like her?" She asked.

Sablekit rolled her eyes and sighed, sitting next to the she-cat, "Neither..." She mewed in annoyance.

Russetleap sighed, then took a deep breath as she stalked off through the trees. She had always managed to ignore the deputy's harsh tones, though she got her on one of her worst days, when her guard was lowered. "Sometimes..." She mumbled in response to the apprentice, "You can't really afford to grow a grudge between a Clan mate, otherwise things will just get worse." She sighed, trying to persuade herself with her own words, But it's just so hard!! She thought.

"Let's follow mom!" Spottedkit meowed, leaping off her paws.

Larkpaw nodded. "Ok."

Russetleap glanced back quickly at the young apprentice and nodded, more to herself then her companion. She then turned her gaze back to the path as they continued on.

Any flash of concern quickly fluttered away, and Sablekit's eyes shone with excitement. "Yeah!" She squeaked, leaping to her paws and bounding out after Spottedkit.

Firefly sat around boredly. She was growing a crush on Fireleaf..

Spottedkit laughed evilly, bounding out if camp.
