Cinderpaw nodded and noted it to herself. Two fish, two mice and a squirrel... if possible anyway. Cinderpaw padded to the lake first. She smashed a hole in the ice, and slid accost and smashed a second hole. She sniffed the air in search of a squirrel as she waited.

Cinderpaw saw a salmon slithering toward her first hole. She made sure her tail was not moving. She sunk her paw into the icy water when it was time and pulled the flopping fish out of the water. She shook the fish until it stopped flailing in her jaws and set it to the side. One more fish, two mice. she thought sniffing the air once again for a Squirrel.
