Survival of the Packs

Hearing Keely cry for me "Hey I have to go!" She barked, licking Ace on the cheek and running off to Keely.

[FlyingWolves]

Keely was in tears when she ran to mom. "You scared me!" then she ran to the den in anger. Keely thought mom abandoned her.

[ｅｐｈｅｍｅｒａ.]

"Keely! I'm sorry!" Ryuu barked sadly, seeing the young pup run into the den. Ryuu followed. "I'm sorry, I heard howls that awoke me and I had to go check it out." She explained.

[FlyingWolves]

"Well you couldve woke me up and told me where you were going." Keely turned her back but smelled something weird. "Momma, I think something bad is here" she said, running into the woods. She found what the smell was coming from and ran back to mom. "Mom! MOM! There is a...a...thing! Come on!" Keely led mom to the source. It was a litt ciggarette and it was starting a small fire.

[ｅｐｈｅｍｅｒａ.]

"I know" Ryuu said, licking Keely. "I smell it too." She added, following Keely into the woods and seeing a small thing start a fire. Ryuu smacked it with her paw. "Ow!" Ryuu yelped as the fire went out.

[Call me Red]

Ace laughed. "Don't burn your paw there Ryuu." He said, stepping out of the shadows. He had followed her, sensing Keely's worry

Ryuu laughed "I won't" She barked, smiling at Ace.

Ace laughed and walked up to Ryuu and Keely. He huffed softly. "Humans and their fires. Destroyed our woods once... Killed my mother and father."

[ｅｐｈｅｍｅｒａ.]

"I'm so sorry..." Ryuu whispered sadly, licking Ace on the cheek.

Ace stepped back and shook his head. "Its the past... my parents are gone. My sister is in a diffrent pack. and Sarian... Sarian adopted me as her brother. I have part of a family here. The only thing missing is a mate and pups." Ace said, his eyes glowing softly.
