After watching her mentor a couple times, she gave it a go. The first time she tried, it was slow, almost as if she was scared. However, she gave it another go, much harder this time, losing her balance and falling forward.

Mistnose ran to his apprentice to see if she was okay with worry in dark eyes, looking at her body and carefully picking her up by the scruff and putting her down gently, shaking his head with sightly disappointment, that she needed to learn how to defend herself.
''Well..it was a start but be more careful next time, we don't want to visit Paintedwind do we?.'' The warrior tried to lighten up the mood with a joke on his tone which was not one of his strengths, worried that due to the fail Juniperpaw would give up trying.
''Try to attack me, remember claws sheathed.'' He prepared himself for the blow, not moving his gray body, it is most unlikely that she would hurt even if she wanted, but he knew that Juniperpaw had a chance to have more power that both of them thought that she had.
