Sagewhisper padded out of the medicine cat den and looked around as he padded out of camp to gather herbs. He had decided not to bother his apprentice today and will teach her some things when he got back.

Willopaw looked at where she planted her berry.
"This is going to be great!" She said. After making sure her berry was OK, she went back into camp, to find her mentor.
She padded over to Sagewhisper, "Do you know where Mintleaf is?"

Featherwing pulled her body even closer around the sleeping Silverkit. As she looked at her only kit, she noticed the silver trail of a tear that had traced down Silverkit's cheek. Featherwing felt the familiar tug of her heart. It had been a hard time for Silverkit. When her older brother had died, she became a shattered form of herself, and was even more determined to show the clan what a good cat she was.
Flamekit was the perfect older brother for Silverkit. He had taken it upon himself to watch out for her and be her play mate. But then Flamekit had caught green-cough, and soon died. He had died slowly and painfully and the suffering that both her kits endured was enough to make her heart crack. Featherwing's dreams were now nightmares and replayed Flamekit dying and his last words.

The tom was woken by the sounds of laughter and loud talking. He flicked his ear lightly, not yet wanting to open his eyes to the sunlight yet. But, of course, it was necessary. Opening one eye reluctantly, Whiskerpaw finally felt the full effect of his drowsiness draining away. So with an annoyed tail flick, the apprentice stood up, despite his muscles cry in protest. Whisk then realized it was much later than he thought. "How long was I asleep?" He wondered allowed, stretching happily. With a few excited bounces, the tom landed out of the den.

Sagewhisper padding into camp saw the apprentice, "Um yeah i think i saw her, she was heading back to camp." he told the young apprentice.

Mintleaf padded into camp just as he said that and smiled padding over to her apprentice, "Hello Willowpaw," she said smiling.
