Rivermist Rivermist padded through the rain-heavy trees, just out of sight of camp. She eventually sat down under a low hanging branch, shaded from the rain. She was just in earshot of the camp, in case Sunstar called a meeting. Flicking her tail over her paws, she curled up into a tight ball, lost in thought.

Turtle made quick work of the prey that Nightecho had caught, and she soon remembered how drowsy she was. Snuggling into the moss and marigolds, she started to doze off, quickly falling into a dreamless sleep.

Sunstar smiled, his golden eyes gleaming. "This is great news, if they keep up their training like this, then we'll have new warriors in no time," he replied. He always liked to hear about the apprentices, especially when it was something good like this. "Thank you for helping with Orangepaw's training, even though she is not your apprentice. By tomorrow we should have a new deputy, so I should be able to take over her training again," he added with almost an apologetic tone.

Blizzardwind glanced up as he saw the rain begin to pick up a bit, fully becoming raindrops instead of mist. He quickly moved to another spot that was more sheltered, and shook some of the droplets out of his fur before sitting down.

Specklepaw paced around outside of the medicine den, her mind whirling as she tried to
remember the herbs needed in case a rogue group attacked, or possibly even foxes.
She let out a hiss of annoyance before she sat down beside the medicine den, letting
out a sigh. "I'm never going to be a great medicine cat," she murmured to herself
before she looked up, trying to distract herself to calm herself down. I shouldn't be so down.

Thorntail stretched in front of the warriors den before she padded over to the fresh-kill pile,
sniffing the small measly mouse at her paws. She shrugged and picked it up, sitting down in
the usual spot underneath the shade of a large boulder. She began eating.

Tigerwhisker was grooming himself near the camp entrance, making sure his long brown
tabby fur didn't look like a tangled mess. He sniffed his paw before he licked it and drew it
over his forehead to groom his ears.

"No need to thank me,Sunstar." Thrushfoot replied before getting to his feet. "You've been under a lot of stress with finding a new deputy so its understandable that you need to focus on that first." The speckled tom gave Sunstar a reassuring smile, he then dipped his head to dismiss himself. Thrushfoot then headed to a sheltered part of the camp to groom the mud from his fur. (Open)

"Specklepaw," Nightecho called out to his apprentice, "you're kicking up a breeze you're pacing so much. You might blow the herbs from their piles." He smiled awkwardly at his lighthearted tease. Even though he had been training Specklepaw for moons now Nightecho still found it hard to believe that he had an apprentice already. After all he had been made medicine cat not that long ago.

Specklepaw perked up as she heard her mentor. "Sorry, Nightecho!" she meowed. "I'm just trying to
remember what dock is for. My pads are all scratched up from sorting the herbs all morning." She
stood up and padded over to her mentor.

Nightecho smiled at is apprentice, "Maybe you should use some dock to fix that." he said hoping Specklepaw would get the hint. Nightecho was currently sorting the new herbs he had gathered that morning, he held them close to his pelt so their scent would seep into his fur. He hoped Specklepaw would think nothing of it.

meowed before letting out a purr of amusement. "I'm so stupid! I had the answer all along!"
She padded inside and sniffed out the leaf before she picked it up.
I think this is dock, she thought before she glanced back at Nightecho for approval.

Sunstar nodded as Thrushfoot dismissed himself and watched the warrior walk away. His golden gaze scanned the clearing for a minute before washing the mud from the fur on his large golden paws. Although it was still raining, it didn't feel sticky or humid. A positive attribute to the territory.

Blizzardwindsaw Thorntail sit down with her meal. He silently came over the other side of the boulder, knowing that his fur blended almost completely with the wet stone. "Well hello there miss. That's a fine mouse you have there," he purred, his blue eyes gleaming with mischief.
