(Lol, well, Hawkpaw told Vixenpaw all about Mousefoot, and now Mousefoot, Glacialfrost and Vixenpaw are on patrol together, and they just met up with Jackalstar, and now let the drama begin)

Vixenpaw gathered up her feelings and kept a smile on her face, " Hey, Jackalstar, whatcha doin' over here on the end of the border?" She asked tilting her head.

Jackalstar nodded. "Congradulations, Mousefoot." He dipped his head respectfully to him. "You will make a good leader." he couldn't help but feeling uncertain He notice that Vixenpaw scooted away from Mousefoot, and he sensed some kind of.... bad vibe coming from him. "Well, i must be on my way." he said, shaking the feeling off. "Also, i've just been doing the same as you- patrolling." he replied, answering Vixenpaw's question.

Glacialfrost sat back, watching her apprentice converse with the other-clanner.

Mousefoot watched as well. "Thank you, Jackalstar." he purred, dipping his head slightly. (Awww, come on, some cat has to like Mousefoot besides Glacialfrost, if his plan is to succeed at all) "May starclan light your path." the tom purred, although something about his voice was a little forced as he said Starclan.

Vixenpaw dipped her head respectfully to Jackalstar and smiled as she thought. Mousefoot isn't going to be a good leader, I just know it! He's pretending to be all nice and good just to become leader! Not on my watch... She had noticed he had kind of forced the words StarClan out of his mouth but she kept quiet.

((It's not that Jackalstar dosen't like him, it's just that he gets some sense is all. He wouldn't know about the prophecy untill some cat told him XD

"And may Starclan light all of your paths." he said, nodding, and walking off, and patrolling the rest of the border.

"We should finish our patrol." he murmured, standing, flicking his tail to beckon them as he trotted confidently along the well-beaten path.

Glacialfrost purred a goodbye to Jackalstar, then padded at her adopted son's side.

Vixenpaw snapped back into reality and noticed the patrol was leaving so she scampered over to Glacierfrost's side, " Where to now, Mousefoot?" She asked.

"We finish the patrol, then go back to camp and eat, and rest through the heat of the day." he said, looking back at her, blinking.

Glacialfrost nodded her agreement. It was obvious that she'd trust her adopted son with her life. It'd be hard to get her to see that he was the true danger here.
