Morningnose turned her head at some snickering, seeing
that it was a young, unfamiliar tabby she-cat. The
tortoiseshell she-cat curled her lips in a snarl and
let out a raspy growl. Her eyes were narrowed and
claws unsheathed, glaring daggers at Kiwi.

Kiwi sh wished her tail. "Well, if I was better at sniffin' I would not be here. Besides, I could beat one of your apprentices! I am 14 moons old!" She said.

Nightstar said " Just because you're 14 moons old, does not mean you know how to fight. My apprentices are some of the most best-trained apprentices in the forest, so you would stand no chance against any one of them. If you want to find out for yourself, then you can fight." He flicked his tail toward Tigerpaw, signaling for him to come. He said in a low voice " If she accepts, I want you to do your best. Ok? If you win, which I know you will, you have my permission not to clean the elders nest for a moon."

and sat down, lowering her head and curling her fluffy tail around
her paws, gaze darkening.

Kiwi stared at Tiger paw. "OK, then no claws or teeth..." the she-cat unseathed her claws. "I don't do that!" She hissed and clawed the smaller cat's ears.
