I ran over to see what the commotion was and I saw Hawklegs savagely assaulting a young fox. Alone. How ridiculous! Is he so certain as to think he can take that thing down? I would almost call this arrogance...
"Seriously, Hawklegs?" I yelled, lunging towards the fox. Just because Hawklegs was a strong tom, didn't mean he would be able to take on a fox alone and survive. It can easily get up at any moment and kill him. I better help. I thought. Since the animal was already struggling on the ground, I leaped on it to pin it down so he could kill it.

He saw Cloverleaf attack the fox and lunged forward. The less cats involved in this the better He thought to himself. He looked up at Whitedust, who was smirking at them, deciding whether to join him or not. He sighed and looked at Flowerpath, who'd just came out of the bushes.

There wasn't any way she was going to let Whitedust think she was a coward! She snarled at the best that Cloverleaf had pinned down.

Snowstar thought a bit about what Moon had said. A kittypet in the Clan? he thought. Her kits would be alright because they would be raised here, but how would the rest of the Clan react? Well, they'll just have to deal with it! "Okay, Moon. You can stay here. Would you like a warrior name?" He hoped that all of the other cats in earshot -- and all the cats in the Clan -- would approve of his decision.

"Yes, that would be great!" Moon replied, excited she was accepted by the Clans and would have a totally new, free life for her and her kits after the struggles of the past moon.
