I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do with Alleypaw... I think I'll have him be like Thistleclaw, start out small, turn out huge, except he'll end up being good when he's not in the dark forest}}

Alleypaw lept into a tree and then curled up to go to sleep. He woke up in the Dark Forest in the clearing with Peachtail and Rainfeather.

Deadeagle nodded. "Step a bit more lightly though. Remember, the mouse will be able to sense your pawsteps unless you step lightly or slide your paws across the ground like this." He showed her and then added, "Keep your back and tail low like a snake but try not to brush anything that will alert your prey of your presence."

Winterpaw nodded and copied him. "Look, I can do it!" She took a few more steps.

Deadeagle nodded proudly. "Good. Now go hunt that mouse."

Lilypad breathed a sigh of relief. "Phew! Thanks. I thought I would lose it." She smiled and lifted a paw to drip water onto Splashpool's head.

Woodpaw felt as if his heart might break. How could his own brother say that? It was all he could do not to burst into tears.

"Good." Peachtail brightened up as much as one could in a place like the Dark Forest and set out to look for a path that would lead to StarClan. She had only taken one or two pawsteps when Alleypaw suddenly appeared in front of her. "Alleypaw!" she gasped Now I remember! The last time that Peachtail had met with Rainfeather in a dream, he had told her that Alleypaw was training in the Dark Forest. When she woke up the next morning, she'd known that she'd had a nightmare, but she couldn't quite remember what it was about. Now it all came back to her. "Alleypaw, what are you doing here?!" She already knew the answer but she couldn't stop herself from blurting out the question anyway.

"Hey, wait for me!" Lilypad laughed. She sprinted after Splashpool and dove into the stream with a mrrow of enjoyment.

"Want to play?" Weaselkit asked hopefully.

Her ears perked " OKay!"

Weaselkit bonked Novakit on the head. "Tag! You're it!" He raced out of the nursery.

"We are going on a border patrol," Raccoontail said.
Passionheart sat in the middle of camp, still smiling.
