stalked the silent crow, who was ironically pecking at a bug, on a fern, in the shade.
xXxThe black she-cat lowered her body and flattened her ears, tail low to the ground and stiff. When she was a tail length away, she stepped on a twig and it tried to fly away. Frustration took over and she went ahead and leaped, claws snagging on the bird and bringing it down. Her other paw's claws sunk into the crow's neck, finishing up the messy kill.
XxXSlightly embarrassed, Fernshade picked up the rather plump and heavy bird, neck straining to hold it up. Feathers tickled her throat, which only made it ten times harder not to sneeze. She then sat it on the top of the fresh kill pile, heading towards her den.
xXxIt was sometimes the feeling of uselessness that drives a medicine cat crazy, and for this reason Fernshade hunted regularly. It was better to help than sit back and do nothing but sort herbs all day. Don't take it wrong, the she-cat didn't HATE her job, she just got bored a lot, when cats weren't getting hurt. Curling up in her nest, she coughed, ears still flattened to her head. As she slowly slept, they began to prick up slowly. By the time Snowstorm and Pinepaw were in her den, Fernshade was fast asleep and peaceful.
Maybe a little.. too peaceful. C:<

A new discovery she padded forwards and dipped her paw into the web. She only did that to struggle getting back out cobweb! she recognized this herb, seeing her mentor use it when she was a kit, she had always wondered about it. She finally pulled her paw out, leaving some untangled cobweb, but breaking it off as well. She thrashed around, attempting to get it off of her paw, she scraped it against the side of the den

Splashpaw nodded before he buried his catch which he would pick up on the way back. Perking his ears up he listened carefully to see if he could pick up any sounds of prey nearby. When he didn't hear anything he padded forward with his jaws parted as he searched for his next choice of prey.
