Streampaw smiled. "Thanks." She leapt and clung onto the root with her claws. "I think I've got a firm hold, grab onto my tail and climb up." She looked down at the kit. "I'm glad we met. You know, you're very friendly for a ShadowClan cat. Just goes to show that we shouldn't judge cats by what Clan they're in." She grinned. "Maybe we can be friends once you're an apprentice and can start going to Gatherings."

Stripekit smiled and nodded. She climbed and made it all the way up. "Thank you!" She said at the top. "And- I'll wait for you, Streampaw!" She smiled another goodbye, and then headed out to go back to camp.

Streampaw climbed up the remainder of the way and snuck back to RiverClan territory, luckily escaping any patrols that might have been around. Tonight. The Gathering was tonight. She would talk to all the leaders...An idea came into her head and she grinned. Certainly she had done something big for her Clan - actually, all four Clans. She certainly deserved it...

Shadestar shook her head and padded back to camp. She hadn't found Stripekit, but at least she had gotten a vole. Plump one, too. She entered camp to find Stripekit already there. "What happened?"

"Oh well..." Stripekit smiled. "I fell down a hole-" She remembered her promise and her friend; "- a rabbit hole,and I guess you could say I made a friend..." She reveals a pudgy little rabbit, about her size. It was dragged all the way there. "-It was my friend for a little while, I mean."

"Thank you!" Stripekit looked at Shadestar. "But... you can have it, if you want it... I'm not all tnat hungry really... and I want to say thanks for letting me in the Clan...." Stripekit lowered her head bashfully.

Shadestar shook her head. "No, this goes in the fresh-kill pile." She picked up the rabbit in addition to her vole and dropped them onto the pile.

Stripekit relaxed and looked up. "Alrighty then... is it okay if you show me around, though?"

Shadestar smiled. "Sure." She padded out of camp again, checking to make sure Stripekit was following.

Stripekit indeed followed. She ran up beside Shadestar and then walked with her. She really liked her new home and wanted to see all of it. (Gtg soon, I'll do a couple more posts. :3)
