Pertkacocked his head slightly to the side, his ear slanting down as he did so. He hadn't even remembered her talking about this, Slain, much other than saying he was the leader of the herd or something to that effect. "How did you come to that conclusion? I barely heard her talk about him. I mean really I'm far from the best judge of character so guess I wouldn't pick up on it." He eased himself down to lay not too far from Aphrodite and facing her so he didn't have to stand over her as he talked. He was also trying this relaxing thing she kept pushing on him. It was okay, he guessed, but he was still a little edgy about something popping out at them.

Having no clue about mares at all Perkta chuckled and just decided she knew best. He nodded his head a bit and smile. He lazily nibbled at the grass in front of him wondering when the pair would return. He wasn't all that keen on Slain, he was the type of stallion that Perkta probably never would get a long with. He gave his head a quick shake, no he had to try harder and not give up on making this change. He was really starting to see the toll living on his own and fighting off rogues had taken on him. He looked back over to Aphrodite, "What do you think happened to the tree to get it looking like that?"

It was the one thing that was in his head. She would not answer a simple question that he wanted to hear. His ripped ears suddenly pinned back, and his crimson eyes flashed angrily.

She shrugs, "I dunno. Maybe it's just a weird tree." She says and raps her long plume tail around her body. She looks at Perkta Still clueless as of how the tree got the way it did. She shrugs it off without the slightest hesitation. She looks out where Kaiya had left them. The back at the ground.
