Feather looked over."See you later then!", she mewed through a mouth full of fur."Deputy fox!", she said screeching to a halt beside him.She dropped the mouse at his paws.Feather sat down and smiled up at him."I caught a mouse.Do you want it?"

Jayfeather looked down at the little she-cat. "Hello," he smiled. "And of course! Its a fine mouse it looks delicious!"

Feather smiled proudly."I caught it myself", she added.Unlike earlier, when her fur was fluffed up in fear, her cream fur lay flat.Well, almost.Normally it was fluffy and soft though it was comparibly wind swept and mud was covering her paws and caught in her soft belly fur.After all when she had caught the mouse just moments before she had padded thru a large mud puddle.Unaware of the wet gloop until after she caught the prey.

JayChaser ate the mouse with exagerated 'Mmmmm' sounds. "That was very good," he told her with a smile. "So what do you think of Leafclan?"
