As the sun began to crawl over the horizon, Fernstar lifted her head and her ears raised a little. She stood up before pressing her nose against each of her dead cats' flanks before looking at her Clan. "We need to bury them, Maplehawk? Could you please take them to be buried. Any cats who wish to go along can, as I will be going too." She mewed, voice still tight with sadness and grief. She wasn't going to let her deputy go that easily, nor was she going to let go of Foxstripe easily. They would be missed, and their legacies would live on.

Threeleg looked up from the ground at Fernstar's quiet commands. He nodded his head before standing and looking across at Maplehawk. "I would also like to come if that is okay." He murmured, looking down at Goldenpaw. "I'll be back soon." He told his apprentice before helping the elder and the other cats pick up the bodies to be buried. Foxstripe's scent was still strong, and it made fresh tears hover on his tear ducts.

Juniperfrost looked up only after Fernstar had finished speaking. "I'm coming too." She announced as she gave Bramblewhisker a wash, despite him being dead. "I love you, Bramblewhisker, and I promise one day we will meet again, and from that day we will be inseparable." She promised him, giving his cold cheek a soft lick. The small warrior helped the other cats pick up their lost Clanmates before looking at Berrypaw. "When I get back we will go training, sound good?" She asked her apprentice, trying to lighten the mood.

Sparrowpaw looked up as Fernstar began to speak. Then he looked at Berrypaw and gave her cheek a lick. "I would like to go and be there when Bramblewhisker is buried, are you alright with that?" He asked the ginger tabby, not releasing his tail from hers as he realised they'd been twined the whole night. He didn't care. He loved Berrypaw and was glad she was there.

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

Ｗｈｉｔｅｒａｉｎ
Whiterain blinked open his eyes as sunlight shone through the prickly leaves of the holly bushes. At first he panicked as he was confused as to where he was, lying on a patch of ferns instead of his nest. Then he looked beside him to see Rosedust lying there, still asleep, and he calmed, his memory flooding back to him. They were in CloverClan territory after WillowClan scattered. "Rosedust?" He whispered, nudging her gently with his muzzle. His belly growled loudly, but he refused to hunt until he had permission from Fernstar. He wasn't going to steal food that he knew belonged to another Clan.

Goldenpaw gasped as he smelt Foxstripes scent, and the fact she was dead. "two...?" he whispered."yeah, I'll wait here..." he whispered to his mentor. He seemed to be in shock.
Nightlight looked down at the camp. "i hope this won't be too much of a blow to cloverclan." she whispered. "those rogues sent too many to us."
BloodWolf stalked a rabbit, but quickly hid when he smelt the leader, the elders and the medicine cat patrolling away from the camp. He saw that two cats had died, the deputy and another warrior, and he smiled. With pretty much all of the high ranks away, and only the Warriors and apprentices there to defend the camp, his brother would be alone.

Rosedust opened an eye carefully, looking around slightly before fully opening the other one. She seemed confused for a minute, but after that it seemed like a wave of foreboding feelings had washed over her, leaving nothing else but sadness. "Oh... Hello Whiterain, how are you this morning?" Rosedust asked quietly while she groomed her fur. The once-deputy flicked her long red tabby tail, and watched Whiterain with wide yellow eyes. Rosedust smiled a bit. At least she still had Whiterain. They only had each other really, Rosedust still wasn't sure if Fernstar would even let them in at all! And if Fernstar didn't... The red tabby shook a bit scared. That would mean they might have to become rogues... At least in Rosedust's mind.

She turned to look at the leader, with nod "I will Fernstar, thank you Juniperfrost, Sparrowpaw, Berrypaw and Threeleg" she meowed tiredly, she wasen't sleep almost at all, but din't let it show. Looking the around the camp to any others to join them "Blueheart, Dustpaw are you two coming too?" she asked to the two toms before turning back to the other cats "Lets go then, Sparrowpaw, Berrypaw and Juniperfrost can you three take Bramblewhisker?" she asked as she walked toward Foxstripe's body.

Moon peeled open her eyes when she felt a paw prodding her side. Ivypaw was standing over her. "The Clan is burying Foxstripe and Bramblewhisker." She mewed. "You should stay in camp, but I wanted to let you know where everyone was." Moon nodded groggily. Ivypaw had led her to a spot to sleep on the edge of camp, before joining the other cats gathered around the two dead cats last night.

Ivypaw sighed heavily. She padded over to the center of camp, leaving Moon to continue sleeping, and looked around for her mentor. I hope I get to take a nap before training! She wasn't going to watch the burial. She hadn't known either cat too well.

"I'll help with Foxstripe's body." Fernstar mewed to the elder as she padded across to her warrior's body. She helped Maplehawk pick up the lifeless body, and turned back only to shout an order. "Any cat who isn't coming be alert. Just in case those rogues that attacked camp with Bone or Bloodwolf decide to come back." She mewed before turning to the elder and nodding, showing she was ready to go.

Threeleg trotted across to Foxstripe's body and helped Fernstar and Maplehawk carry her. He turned his head and looked at Goldenpaw. "I'll be right back then I'm going to show you some new herbs." He mewed to his apprentice before turning his head back around and waiting for the signal to set off.

Ｊｕｎｉｐｅｒｆｒｏｓｔ
Juniperfrost padded across to Bramblewhisker's body and helped the other cats carry him. She was glad to have Sparrowpaw and Berrypaw's help because the tom's body was quite heavy. "Come on then." She mewed, voice tight with sadness. She turned to look at Fernstar, Maplehawk and Threeleg, waiting for the signal to start heading out.

Ｓｐａｒｒｏｗｐａｗ
Sparrowpaw stood up, finally releasing his tail's grip from around her's. He padded across to Juniperfrost and helped her pick up her mate's body. His mentor was quite big and a bit heavy, so he was grateful for the help of Berrypaw and Juniperfrost. Although he was sad, he couldn't imagine how upset Juniperfrost was. After all, she'd been his mate. They'd never even had kits...

"We'll go to their camp today as they'll be finished mourning for Bramblewhisker and Foxstripe." He decided, standing up when his fur was groomed adequately and stretched.

Gullstep watched proudly as one of her kits began to walk. When Owlkit fell asleep once more the queen gave him a gentle lick on the head. Silently she dipped her head again and prayed to Starclan.

The warrior padded over to where the others were beginning to encircle the deceased and bowed his head in a silent prayer to Starclan at the horrible loss of their deputy and another warrior. When the vigil was over and the cats were carrying the bodies out he sat himself near the entrance to the camp, wanting to protect it in case any of those rogues dared to come back and cause trouble at this time.

Batspring followed his family as they joined to mourn with the other cats. Where one of their family members went they all seemed to follow after all, they were like each other's shadows in that way. Quietly the warrior dipped his head out of respect for the deceased warrior as he sat next to his siblings.

Rosedust nodded a bit. "It's such a shame that this has happened to Bramblewhisker and Foxstripe..." The red tabby sighed and hung her head a bit, watching a small dandelion as the wind carried away the seeds with their white "puffs" on top. Even if Cloverclan was another warrior clan... Rosedust felt sorry for Fernstar, she has been a nice she-cat at gatherings when she had seen her. Rosedust lifted her head and perked up a bit. "Well, when will we get on our way?" She asked lightly, curling her tail over her paws.
