"Now!!" Viperstar nodded.

Fishpool looked around. "The two-leg bridge over the thunderpath! It's over there!" She shouted to Milknose, who was at the front of the group.

Sunstorm coughed more violently. She could feel the presence of Star Clan surrounding her. As she became unconscious, she found herself engulfed in stars and darkness. Out of the darkness came an elegant, swift cat. She bent her nose and touched Sunstorms.
"It is time to leave, my daughter. You have served your clan well and now it is your time to hunt with Star Clan."
Sunstorm looked upset, but then realised the cat stood in front of her was her mother, Blueriver. "Mother... Am I dead? I haven't had chance to say goodbye!"
"There is no need to say goodbye. Your spirit will live on in their dreams."

(Paws, Sunstorm and Leafstorm are pretty good friends, so maybe after Sunstorm is dead she can come to Leafstorm in a dream and tells her about a prophecy that her kits and perhaps Patchsong's kits, seeing as they'll only be slightly older, are going to fill?)

(Sure! But maybe wait until after they get to their new home? Leafstorm knows about her kits now but they wont be born yet... maybe they could be born on the journey?)

i leap forwards as the tree falls, pushing it towards the lake, my pads are burning hot and beginning to blister but i keep on pushing... we have to get off this island alive and this is the only way without swimming...

i push the log with the others... luckily the injured cats have the sense to conserve their strength and not help

With the Clan by the Twoleg bridge

i let out a wail as Sunstorm goes limp against me "Sunstorm! Sunstorm!" i cry "Tigerkit!" i call "Come quickly! Your mother!"

i turn my head at Talonwind cries "Tigerkit! Go and find out whats going on!" i tell the kit

Badgermask moved after the group and helped to push the log with Leafstorm and Foxheart, hissing slightly as his paws were singed from the hot bark.

Hearing Fishpool's shout, Milknose couldn't help but feel confident that at least this portion of HawkClan would be safe. Of course she didn't know about Sunstorm's death, the calls of Talonwind shouting to Tigerkit about her mother fell on deaf ears as Milknose was more focused on getting the Clan to the two-leg bridge that she forgot to tune her senses to the cats she was trying to lead as well. That, and when you're leading a large group of cats who keep panicking to one another nonstop you can't exactly focus on one noise without all the others drowing you out. Milknose squinted her eyes looking through the smoke and ash to see the two-leg bridge they would have to cross to get to the marshlands that Viperstar had told them to. "We're almost there! Just stay strong everyone!" The light brown she-cat called as she twisted her head to look at the Clan. And with that Milknose turned her head back to the road ahead and pushed onward.

@ Paws- I was going to wait till a bit further on when Sunstorm came to Leafstorm anyway, so yeah, when they're at their new home like you said.)

Sunstorm looked up to her own mother. "Will my kit be okay?" She asked, as the other cat began to walk away, Sunstorm following.
"Yes. Your kit is strong, and will grow up into a great warrior. Do not fear, Sunstorm, you will watch from Star Clan."

Viperstar's paws burnt, stinging like a million bees had stung them. The tree creaked, then fell, creating a perfect bridge. The flames instantly sizzled out with contact with the water, and Viperstar looked at the others. "We.. we did it! Let's go, quick, follow me." He jumped onto the bridge, testing it with his front paws, then he ran across on all three good ones as fast as they'd take him. Inside, he felt like he needed to cough, and when he did, he brought up blood, but ignored it and continued on.

Dustcloud continued on, the marshes were in sight. As he took his first step onto boggy land, he couldn't help being disgusted by the mud. Right in the middle of the marshes, there was a small 'island' with a small cave, or bunch of rocks on it. "Aim for that island thing!" He called up to the others.

Scarletfur had heard wailing and frowned. She charged onward, panting, and her shoulder burning intensely with pain. Her black-red fur was almost a blazing red color from the flickering flames.

Cedarpaw yowled,"C'mon, were close!" Though he had no idea how close or far they were.

Nightshade stands by the fallen tree until the rest of the patrol has past. Her paw pads were burning, and she shuffled from paw to paw, trying to numb the pain. As soon as the last cat was on, she quickly followed suit, the flames licking at her tail. She gives a small hiss, digging her claws into the slick bark, limping at every step.

i drag Sunstorms body over the Twoleg bridge as we cross as a Clan, i do not want to leave it behind to be burnt away to nothing... it seems... unfaithful somehow...

i hurry the other kits along the bridge, their tiny tails sticking straight out behind them
