Star Pattern looked at her watch with a bright smile; she averted her eyes to the golden force-field, noticing it had disappeared. "It's time!" She grinned and her horn illuminated her and Hot Sauce's face, she closed her eyes and when she opened them, she and her friends at made it to a secluded part of Canterlot.

I shook out my name, as I too was suddenly in Canterlot. ''Oh my Celestia...'' I whispered gleefully, stamping my hooves quietly with anticipation. ''We did it!''

"Don't get too excited. The palace is on the other side of Canterlot... We need to sneak past all the guards." Star Pattern hushed her friend and walked slowly along the dimly lit street, trying to avoid clopping her hooves against the pavement. Once she got to a street corner, she popped her head around the corner and saw two guards in the middle of the street they had to go down. "I'll make a distraction, just follow my lead." Using her aura, Star made two barrels fall over in the street further down, and the guards cantered off to see what happened. Quickly but stealthily, Star rushed down the street and along the next road, with no guard in sight. "Great. The palace is just two streets away. We're making good progress so far." She said quietly.

Marvelling at her quick and precise skills, I nodded. ''Can you sense any other dangers?'' I asked in a hushed voice, slowing down to a quieter trot beside Star. It was so difficult to see in the gloom surrounding them. For all she knew, a band of guards could be right behind them!

Star Pattern shrugged. "It's pretty hard to tell if there's a guard around the next corner. Come on, there's only one way to find out." She made her way with Hot Sauce further down the stretched narrow street with dark building, only a light or two on in every other house they passed, and a few café's that had closed for the night. She twisted her head round the next corner which was home to the entrance of the palace, and a whole line of guards were standing at the grand doorway. "Any ideas?" Star whispered, there was anything around to make a distraction, barely anything to knock over.

I shivered, watching all the important looking stallions guarding the entrance. ''Um....'' I paused, trying to be useful. ''Maybe one of us could be a decoy? Risky, but... No other ideas, you know?'' I sighed, trying to think. Nothing game to my mind, though.

"Wait! I have an idea." Star Pattern smirked and used her aura to make the palace doors swing open.
"Someone entered the palace!" One guard shouted.
"Quick, gentlecolts! To the palace!" The Captain of the Royal Guard neighed, and the whole group cantered into the palace.
"Perfect! It'll be a smooth wave from here to the balcony from now on." Star smiled and she trotted out from the bushes and round to the other side of the palace where Princess Scarlett Pearls' balcony was.
