Hollycloud lifted her head, awaking from her slumber as she stretched her limbs and padded out into the mid-day sun. She arched her back and opened her maw in a gaping yawn, examining the clan with cheerful eyes. She glanced back over her shoulder, noting her half brother, Briskwind, sleeping soundlessly in the Warrior's Den. She gave a slight purr, happy to see he was recovering well from some strange illness he had picked up a little while back.

Briskwind's paws glided softly over the densely packed leaves on the ground. He sprang, landing gently on the tail of the mouse, and as he was about to deliver his soft, killing blow, his eyes fluttered open, revealing his surroundings. He now lay awake in the Warrior's Den, shaking off the remains of his dream as he cast a tired glance at his sister who stood in the entrance of the den.
