"Look, she called me names, kicked dung in my face, she almost broke one of my legs for crying out loud!" Fallen said. She studied the mare closely, and suddenly felt very embarrassed. "Er, guys? Minty, the mare I'm talking about, doesn't have that last dot on her side like Minty here does." she hung her head in shame. "I'm sorry. I really thought you were her.."

"See?" Avalon said his ears flattened.

Instead of pinning her ears back at him, she just stood there, too close to crying. One of the hardest things for her to do was admit she was wrong, especially when she started a fight. And the only reason she did it today was for Avalon. And he was still mad

Avalon glanced away from her, still upset with her conduct.

She lowered her head with sadness in her eyes as she trotted of to her foals to let them suckle. As they suckled happily she thought about leaving. I wouldn't! It wouldn't be of any use and I love Avalon too much. It seemed everywhere she went she always did something to make herself feel resented.
