Spottedkit was curled in the back of the nursery. She ingored her mother, digging her face into her fluffy tail.

Sablekit nodded, eyes still wide. "But.... she's going to be ok... right?"

Russetleap sighed once again, and ventured to the back of the den, curling her large, fluffy self around her kit. "Spottedkit..." She began, whispering, "You know that I love you... But you need to learn to respect the words of those around you. I say what I do out of experience." Suddenly her concerned, motherly look vanished, and she smiled warmly down at the kit, "Did you know... that when I was your age, I climbed the nursery den as well?" She began.

"Why were you being so mean to Firekit?" Goldenkit asked, curious like always.

Mistfut nodded."of course she will, it's not as if a badger bit her".

"I wasn't!" Whitekit snarled.

Spottedkits eyes starting to clear up. "Really?" She sniffed.

[-Bacon]

Sablekit looked down at her paws as she kneaded awkwardly at the ground. No... But Russetleap is pretty close... She thought.

Russetleap purred and nodded, "Yep! Rootclaw and I always used to do when our mother left on patrols, much like you." She added, nudging her gently, and letting a mrrow of laughter escape her maw before she continued. "But one day I slipped and fell off. I was in the medicine cat's den for almost a moon because I couldn't walk properly." Her excited mood slowly faded as she smiled lovingly down at her lone kit with care, "That is why I want you to be careful. And why I want to be there in case something goes wrong."

Tigerkit's ears pricked as he watched his sister go over to Whitekit. "No he wasn't!!" He defended his brother, hissing slightly. "You guys were being mean and left us out of your game!" He spat.

Spottedkit nodded. "Oh."

"Okay, if you say so." Goldenkit shrugged then yawned. "I just played with them, if you wanted to play...You..could have.." She let a yawn before she finished "Asked. " She yawned, "I'll go find Firekit, and we can all play together?" She mewed.

Whitekit shook his head. He laid back down.

"okay..." She silently agreed, she shook her pelt. Then padded out the den.

River yawned, she woke up. "So, having fun with your brother, Whitekit?" She asked suddenly.
