Tigerclaw made his way towards Eaglestar with a dip of his head, "Eaglestar, I wish to request permission that you name me Wolfpaw's mentor?" he said calmly. "I lost my apprentice in the fire and she her mentor. And with her leg still being injured I don't wish to see her be forced to retire early due to that injury. I wish to make her stronger." He said.

Rainsong
The female followed after Redfern hesitantly. She was tempted to turn back...but she couldn't now...now could she? It was too late of that now...Besides, she'd come this far. Time to suck it up. Taking a deep breath before being presented Rain song readied herself, smiling warmly to the older she cat. Although, her smile faded at the question. "I was once a warrior." She stated, looking a little more solemn. "Me and my younger brother Dragonpaw have both however had to find a new clan. Our old one..." she paused. "Has dispersed, and many have died thanks to recent events.." she said, her voice trailing as she glanced slightly away.

Eaglestar nodded, eyes sympathetic. "Cats from all clans are welcome here." she said. "I'm sure Dragonpaw will be glad to have his older sister back." She spotted Tigerclaw approaching, and with a nod to Rainsong, she turned towards him. She listened carefully to his suggestion, nodding again. "Many of our apprentices lost their mentors in the fire." she said. "I plan to have a ceremony tomorrow, naming new mentors for them." she smiled softly. "I will keep your recommendation in mind."

He smiled slightly at that with a dip of his head, "Thank you Eaglestar, I appreciate it." He said with a deep purr rumbling in his chest.

{What does everyone think of a bit of a time skip? Just pretend everyone went to sleep and continue at dawn?
I'd like to have the ceremony for the new mentors as soon as I work a few things out, and I'd like to get the clan moving again. But I can wait if anyone has any plans for the night.}

Redpaw heard commotion as a few cats came in with evidently more injuries. It was Viperpaw, Duskpaw and Tigerclaw. She stopped washing her paw in shock. What is with all these injuries, what is going on?

Rose looked up to see even more hurt cats came into the camp. She drew back at the sight of blood, I guess I'll have to get used to that though. She thought, biting her tongue. The little feline scanned the camp around her, wondering what she should do since she was not exactly part of the clan...yet..

Howl


Howl blinked open an eye, lazily staring down at the camp from the one tree that was visible. His giant form was comfortably relaxing across the broad tree branch, easily supported by the sturdy old wood. His sun burst orange fur gleamed within the light, giving him the appearance of fire in the tree. He looked to his left, noting the branch lower than him. Upon it rested what looked similar to a clump of snow. In reality though, it was his twin sister Gwyn. He smiled, chuckling quietly to himself as he watched her breathe deeply. She seemed to be asleep, but he knew from experience that she was wide awake and alert. It was a little trick he had taught her when they were younger.

Gwyn watched the going ons of the clan below them. She heard her brother awaken, the slightest motion alerting her to his arise. She smiled slightly, only the barest twitch of her lip. He was such a lazy cat. He never admitted it, but she knew. She blinked her ice blue eyes, smiling as she watched the kits. She had a fondness for the younger cats of the clan. To her, they were the future. Without them, the older cats had nothing. Nothing to protect, nothing to share. We depend on the kits. So we must protect them at all cost. Gwyn hoped that one day she too would be able to bear kits for Sun clan.
