Sachar shrugged. "Just like most of us here. They appeared and chose us."

Akantha continued, "What are you charms?" She looked at her own amulet. The charm depicted this: 힘

Sachar looked down at hers. "Mine's a flame."

Akantha nodded. "I have no idea what mine is," She said.

Jensu looked at his. "Mine's just a rock." He looked at Slate, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at her. He walked up to her and whispered in her ear, "Are you...alright?" Then he turned to Thorn and tilted his head. How did she know that language? "Uhh...Boreíte na katalávete mou?" His mother had taught him that language before she died, and he wondered if that was what she was speaking.

Akantha shook her head slowly at Jensu. "I don't know what I'm speaking, I've just known it ever since I can remember. And I don't understand what you are saying..."

"I'm fine," Slate said to Jensu, staring ahead at something that only she could see.

Jensu nodded at both dragonesses, unable to think of anything else to say. He looked at Sachar, then Kori, and finally glanced at Cyber for a split-second. He still blamed himself for her injuries. "So, when can we get out of here and bust some evil-dragon butt?!"
