She said with a laugh,
closing her eyes and nuzzling him back

She said teasingly,

"Well thou art very right."
She giggled,

"If i could compare the to a summers night."
She said in a dramatic joking voice teasingly.

"Oh,"
He said, surprised she was interested,
"Her name is Vanity, and sure you can, but i don't know where she is at the moment."
Or if she would behave,
He thought,

considering the almost jealousy she felt for Poetry.
He walked along side her, he could soon smell the water and here it trickling off the small waterfall.
They soon arived at the little pond, and he slowly waded in,
wincing,
"Its so cold!"
He said with a slight chuckle, chattering his teeth.

She gave a small giggle and stepped out in the water.
"Oh my lord, this is freezing!" She started to get back up.
"Dexter, get up, you'll catch a cold" she said and waited for him.
Vanity.. Sounds like a friendly mare, now I really wanna meet her.

"Just a sec, let me just,"
He lowered his head reluctantly to the water, and with one swoop of bravery he buckled down and rolled,
trying to get all the dirt off in one dunk.

He brought himself to his feet and as fast as he could and trotted out desperately,
his forelock covering his eyes.
"HO Damn!...."
He said shivering, trying to see out of his long bangs.
"That woke me up!"
He said with a chuckle.

"And, Meet Vanity? Oh, uh,"
He contemplated this, He wasn't scared to show her to Vanity, but he was a bit reluctant as to see if she would be behaving around her or not.
Dexter did care for Vanity and valued her as his friend, but he wouldn't take her being rude to his girlfriend.
"Well, the thing is you can't be sensitive around her, she's a bit ornery."
He sighed,

"You know, maybe its best if we waited untill everything kind of simmers down between us."
He said,
"She may be a bitfriendlier towards us both that way."
He smiled, hoping she would just forget about it, he was trying to anyway.

He realized that he was still squinting out of his bangs and shook, his mane flopping all over the place, making him look rediculous.
He smiled at her and laughed a bit

She sighed worried at him when he came up from the water, and it gave her a shiver aswell.
With a nod she smiled understandful and sighed again.
When he shook his mane, it splashed on her and she laughed.
"Okay.. About that with you and me.. I think we are ready to take.. Our relationship to the next level, you know?" She said with a weak smile and a blush on her cheeks.

Location: Somewhere in unknown marshland

Bear huffed and snorted having a little bit of trouble walking through the rising waters since the foliage underfoot began to wrap itself around his legs, although he managed to travel without losing balance. He halted and looked around wondering what direction to go. ''Well then.. I suppose I'm lost now..'' he said to himself a little puzzled. He lowered his head and closed his lids, sleep fighting him. But he couldn't rest now, it was dangerous to be out here alone where unknown predators could be. So again he glanced around, wondering where the nearest strip of land was.

Dexter became a bit alarmed at her statement.
"Uhm..Oh.."
He said, his face turning a bit red.
"Wh-what do you mean by that?"
He said nervously.

Dexter had never gotten this serious with any girl before,
it had only been brief girlfriends, and one night flings.
Nor had he ever felt this way about a girl before,
Blast his awful commitment ability..

But he didn't want her to think that he loved her any less.
"But..I mean..we-well what i'm trying to say is...I.."
He stuttered,

"It's okay, I understand if your not ready for it.. Just wanted to say that I trust you that much that I think we should.. You know, bond stronger you know.." She said with a nervous and shy smile.
She had never felt like this and the feeling was quite new, even thought she had been through some love before, but not this strong.
She looked up at him with glittering green eyes as she melted in his eyecontact, only looking at him made her fall in love again.

Dexter took a step towards her and
Let his lips play with her hair,

"Poetry, I don't want you to think that i don't want to move forward with you."
He took a step back and met her eyes, smiling comfortingly.
"But i do admit, that i am scared to do it because i do't want to mess up and ruin what we have."

He nuzzled her,
"I ruin too many other things in life."
He said with a pathetic chuckle,
"And i don't want to ruin this.."
He leaned forward a little and let his eyes drift shut,
as he let his lips touch hers lightly, in a soft kiss...

She closed her eyes and felt her cheeks go warm as their lips touched. A small sigh appeard as she smiled at him and nuzzled his chin.
"I wouldn't have started to take up this topic.. If I knew it coulf ruin what we have" she whispered as she closed her eyes slowly.
Why did I do this? ask him that? She though and kept close to him and felt dozy and tired.
"I'm a bit.. Scared to.."
