"Whatever." Hawkpaw stood up and smelled the ground, only catching a very light scent. "I smell him, but only slightly..." He meowed quietly.

Sparkpaw jumped to his paws. The faster they found the kit, the faster they could go on patrol. "It seems like he went this way." Sparkpaw called, his nose pressed to the ground. He began walking across camp, motioning with his tail for Hawkpaw to follow.

"Eh..." Hawkpaw flicked his tail and followed slowly, looking around for any sign of the kit.

Moonlight turned a corner, where she saw Leafkit staring a the drop of the cliff below. "Leafkit! Get down from there!" Moonlight shouted. Leafkit jumped down, tail low, and said "I'm-" Moonlight inturrupted him furiously "Leafkit! You scared me terribly! Never exit the camp until your old enough! Oh, Leafkit!" She said as she rushed towards him and furiously began to lick him. Leafkit tried to move out of the tounge's way, but Moonlight picked him up and started towards the camp.

Sparkpaw heard rustling just outside of camp and ran towards the noise. It was Moonlight and Leafkit. "Great! Leafkit's safe!" He said happily.

Moonlight went back towards the den, waving a paw at Sparkpaw. She entered the medicine cat den, and scolded Leafkit.

[Sake]

Hawkpaw followed and approached the three cats. He smiled slightly. "Oh, good."

"Now we can go on the patrol!" Sparkpaw said happily.

[Sake]

"I suppose so. You're ready, I guess?" Hawkpaw purred softly. "Of course, we have to go back and get our warrior."

"Yeah." Sparkpaw said, heading back to camp. "I can't wait until I'm a warrior and can go out on my own."
