crookedpaw stood his ground as the cat took a step toward him an sootstorm. the tom didn't quite know what to do though, he had never been in an actual spat like this before and had little to no experience outside of clan territory at all. he hadn't even been assigned a mentor yet.. the small tom stood beside sootstorm hoping the tom would know what to do in this situation.

He looked at the few cats before turning to the leader "Hm? Let me guess it's about that loner" he meowed a sight escaping to his mouth. He sat down, curling his tail over his paws "so what is it, what do you need to speak about?" he asked.

He looked up to the sky "hmm yes I am waiting for patrols" he told her "hmm, I think today will have great weather...I don't really mind rain thought" he meowed flicking his tail.
He turned to face the younger warrior "he did? I see then I am going " he told the she-cat, looking at Lakesong for a moment "Are you coming too Lakesong?" he asked her.

She flattered her ears after the tom-warrior left the pile, not saying a word to her anymore, which made her think that maybe she could just be quiet. Sighing she looked at the fresh-kill pile, but didnät take any prey there, why could she, especially when she was done nothing at this morning and it seemed that it was going to stay that way too.

The ice cracked under me and I fell through!"

Cloudfur gave a small sigh before sitting down with their tail curled just above their paws, so the two could see them. They were right if they fought these two Mothstar would never let them in the clan.

They refused to take a step away, but surely sitting down would suffice. Though them lying and trying to swindle them out if food surely wouldn't leave them solely in the wrong

the tom tilted his head as the cat said something about joining echoclan. i wonder what mothstar said.. the apprentice wondered. deciding he should just ask the outsider he sat down curling his tail over his paws and meowed "what's your name stranger?" he asked pausing for a moment before continuing on "and what did mothstar tell you when you asked to join the clan? i wouldn't want to disrespect a future clanmate." he added. he sounded genuine enough, and he was genuinely curious as to if this cat would be joining his ranks.

"My name's Cloudfur and she said she would have to think it over with the medcat and deputy. And to return tomorrow morning. I didn't want to overstay, so I left the clan to den somewhere out of Echoclan territory, but close enough where I could be back in clan when I was expected." Cloudfur said.

They were still suspicious about these two, but they didn't seem like they would do anything.

"What are your names?" Cloudfur asked.

While they had seen the pair in camp they hadn't heard their names. And they were curious to see why they though a lone cat was such a threat.

"Not that it really matters, but why did you two think I'm such a threat to even bither with following me?" Cloudfur asked with a small tilt of their head. They hadn't meant in a rude way and hoped they didn't take it that way, but Cloudfur really didn't see why they would be a threat.

"names crookedpaw, i'll let him*he points to sootstorm* introduce himself. normally any cat on clan territory that isn't a clan cat is considered a threat. therefore being clan cats we thought it best to follow you since you were on our territory before you crossed the border." he meowed, waiting for sootstorm to say something.

Sootstorm shakes his fluffed out fur "Sootstorm." he meows bluntly keeping his eyes fixed on Cloudfur. He looks up to the sky to see the sun disappear behind some clouds. "We should go. I'm bored of this outsider" he meows icily. Sootstorm wasn't fond of the idea of a random cat joining the clan, who knows if you can actually trust them. He walks over to the squirrel Cloudfur caught and picks it up in his jaws before stalking away back into EchoClan territory.

crookedpaw quickly followed behind sootstorm as to not be left behind with cloudfur alone. he padded quietly behind him sniffing the air once in a while. he stopped suddenly, taking a big whiff of the air and perking his ears. he could faintly hear the scuttling of a mouse to his right. slowly he stalked up behind it trying his best not to alert the mouse but then.. *snap* he steps right on a twig and the mouse quickly scurries off. a little bit discouraged the apprentice steps back behind sootstorm and continues back.

"It's nice to officially meet you both. Ah that makes sense. Most rouge cats are a bit more lax in their rules; as long as a cat isn't wrecking the territory or any cats then it's fine to be in the territory and since I don't have any clan experience I was guessing clans were the same." Cloudfur meowed.

Cloudfur ignored Sootstorm bscause they couldn't blame them they did fluff their fur up on them.

"Hey! That's mine!" Cloudfur yelled glaring at Sootstorm.

"Well that was a bit rude." Cloudfur mumbled
