Anything else was forced back down in the wake of that stupid houndoom's comment, and it was visible as the frazzled and anxious mother melted away -- consciously leaving only the ace battling champion that she was as she stalked toward him this time. "I'll say this slowly, kid," she purred, voice sickeningly sweet and sounding almost venomous despite her type, "because clearly you're pretty slow on the uptake. I. Am not. In. The mood. For games." Not long ago she probably would have just attacked, she'd never really tolerated anything that could have been considered shallow flirting and this houndoom grated on her nerves. But Masumi was still nestled between her shoulder blades, burrowing ever deeper into her now much cooler mane, and it kept her at least partially grounded.

A visible puff of air hovered between them as she huffed, turning abruptly away once more as the absol's declaration. It was obvious to her, at least, that he wasn't intimidated any more than she was. Who could say if the houndoom could tell, she didn't have much.... confidence, in his ability to. "My business is none of your concern."

The ninetales spoke with venom in her voice, quite virulent for how haggard she had appeared earlier. If nothing else, she had guts. Judas could admire that. He was glad to see she seemed capable by herself; he didn't really like the thought of having to 'protect' her at every turn. If they were to spend any length of time together, it was better that she was competent. The houndoom actually seemed a bit taken aback by her vitriol, as though he hadn't been expecting her to be serious. That, or he was just upset his forwardness wasn't taken too well. He'd probably been expecting them to be more easily intimidated than they were. The houndoom had come off as quite arrogant and forward, but Judas found that more annoying than he did threatening. "You're the one who came around here looking for trouble. Shouldn't be too surprised if you find it." Said Judas scathingly, a little bolder on his own part now. He never liked the types of pokemon who were always looking to pick fights or threaten others. Granted, Judas didn't exactly have the sunniest disposition out there, but he almost never went anywhere deliberately looking for a scrap.

"Very funny." He scoffed at the houndoom's remark about their 'honeymoon'. He dismissed it as the other still just trying to get under their skin, which would've been in line with his previous behavior. The houndoom then seemed to turn and flick his tail as if to indicate he was leaving, which Judas honestly hadn't expected. Maybe he really was all talk after all.

Had she been in a better mood, Izanami would have been almost amused at how quickly the houndoom turned tail once she'd asserted herself. Not so loudly full of himself once he'd been shut down apparently. Clearly she should have just started with that instead, lesson learned. "Very sorry, you didn't seem the type to understand much of anything if it isn't focused on you," she answered, voice still sickly-sweet. The honeymoon comment rolled off her like the snow from her home -- insignificant and not requiring her attention. She had infinitely more important things to be doing than this.

The fiery light reddish and white female smiled as she went over to her mate. Now that the Lugia was gone, their child stopped hiding. She watched as they climbed onto their dad's back. She smiled a bit, then curled up beside him and put her fluffy white tail over her nose.

He then turned to the Absol "and how did I come here looking for trouble? I was just speaking, if you can't take jokes that's your problem" he told the male. He turned to look at Mitsu, with a sight "No I wasn't..." he answered her but knew that she could not hear him.
