☞BEARPAW had quickly forgotten about Sunpaw, not giving much importance or even a second thought to the nuisance that she could be. So it came as quite a surprise to him when he caught the younger apprentice stalking towards him, tail fluffed. The sooty gray tom saw this as an immediate threat and he unsheathed his claws, muscles tense and green eyes boring into the smaller she-cat. As soon as she spoke, however, he relaxed and snorted, chuckling to himself. "It's nothing you need to concern yourself with, Sunpaw. Go on back to your mentor." The older apprentice waved her away with a nonchalant flick of his tail, already bored with her. Bearpaw let his gaze wander elsewhere, hoping to join Whitewhisker's patrol and be out in the forest already. He was far past the stage of restlessness, and was certainly over being surrounded by so many mouse-brains.

Silverpaw awoke with a start. He looked around before he sighed in defeat. He had been having bad dreams for a while but din't tell anyone. He pushed himself up carefully, not to wake anyone. He noticed Orchidpaw wasn't in the den but he shrugged it off and went outside. He shivered at the cold, frosty winter air against his fluffy fur. He looked around, checking if anyone was there before lying down on the cold hard ground. He looked around and saw Snowkit run out. He walked up to her and told her to go back. She of course, refused so he brought her with him. He looked around once again and saw nobody around. He walked up to the pile of prey and decided to chat with his little sister. "So, you excited to be an apprentice soon?" He asked, sitting down, but not grabbing anything to eat. He wasn't one to eat a lot, as he figured, others needed more prey than himself.

Snowkit woke up excitedly. She was the only kit so she didn't have to worry about waking anyone up but she did get lonely from time to time. She got up, and ran out to be greeted with the harsh winds of a winter morning. Her brother Silverpaw came up to her, not looking very amused. "What are you doing? You're going to get sick! Go back inside!" Silverpaw said angrily. Snowkit rolled her eyes and said, "I'm bored! I wanted to come outside! Can I come with you?" She asked, so excitedly that she was almost bouncing up and down. "Fine." He replied, rolling his eyes. He walked over to the fresh kill pile and Snowkit followed silently. She looked around distractedly and looked over at Silverpaw when he questioned her. "Yep!" She replied excitedly, sitting down, trying to contain her excitement about becoming an apprentice.

Archhallow followed the patrol, crouching at the scent of a squirrel. Stalking, he followed the scent to a big and young squirrel. He quickly pounced, but not before Acornheart's fur and sent the squirrel right to the tom. Unintentional teamwork.

Nightleaf purred quietly. "I like Ravenkit." The queen agreed. "The she-cat will be Sunnykit. And Coldkit for this one." Nightleaf mewed, laying her tail on their only daughter and then a little tom almost identical to her. Looking to the last kit, Nightleaf nuzzled him as he mewed loudly. "Bouncekit. I think that'll suit him." Smiling at her kits, the black and white she-cat looked back at her mate sadly. "Will you tell the clan and bury him? The kits have to nurse, and I don't think I could handle it."

Elmpaw was walking forward, until he noticed her tone change, getting louder and more agressive. The tom glanced back, raising an eyebrow as to why she was mad with him, or as it seems. “Well, I’m sorry about that..?” The tom stammered, rather puzzled. He didn’t understand why she was putting it on him, and thought that she was a kind and gentle she-cat, which obviously seems not to him. He was getting irritated, flattening his ear as she went off on him. “I don’t understand what’s your problem with me Briarpaw, but are you sure you’re even trying then?” He spat coldly and bluntly, before turning away.

A fierce yawn escaped Robinflight's mouth. He blinked his eyes, attempting to shake off the sleepiness. "You seem a little tense." The tom gave way to a small frown. "Would you care to take a quick hunting trip with me?" He didn't know quite what else to suggest to relax the she-cat. Come on Robinflight. You're her mate. Make her happy. His amber eyes scanned the camp clearing. Cats were participating in a wide variety of different activities. It didn't seem like too many cats were out of camp so surely it wouldn't hurt for the two of them to leave. "Or if you would rather do something else, I'm open to suggestions." The tom smiled, trying to connect with Maplestrike.

Sunpaw winced and her ears pinned to the side of her head. Tail drooping, head hanging, quite unlike her, she merely mewed a meek, “Okay,” and slowly walked off. He hates me. Do all of my denmates hate me? I bet Elmwind thinks I’m the worst apprentice in the world...and Cloudbreeze probably doesn’t want me on her patrol...maybe Quietstar thinks I’m so annoying that she put me on patrol just to make me leave.......

"Hunting sounds good." She approved, teasingly combing her fur against his as she slipped by him, headed for the thorny entrance that lead into the forest. Maplestrike casted a glance backward, her tail flicking eagerly. She wanted to use her skills, her claws, and show Robinflight that she was more than just a pretty face. She lightly slithered across the forest floor, quick as a snake, following the scent line of a rabbit. She circled around the plump prey, her whiskers twitching eagerly. Then,
she sprang out from the bushes and landed squarely on the rabbit's shoulders, killing it with a neat nip to the spine. She lifted up the dead rabbit in her jaws, tail arched over her back, and strolled back to Robinflight with her chest puffed out.

Don’t be so cold? Says the one who snapped out of no where. “If you want to help the clan, just do other things.” He muttered, glancing at her with sharp eyes. “Take the role? You should of tried for it at least it’s fair, but taking it? Since you didn’t try, I earned the role, are you referring that you could take my role as easy as that?” He added bluntly, irritated by her sense of knowledge. He took a deep breath before looking at her. “You’re only an apprentice Briarpaw, if you don’t want or you’re not fit to be a hunter, you can be a warrior. It’s not all about hunting.” He explained, before looking away, examining the area they’re in currently in search of cobwebs.
