May i say another annoying thing about power-playing?

In one roleplay i saw, it had a power-player, who seemed to be picking on one person's characters more than others. So it got to the point were the picked-on person had to power-play to as the origanal power-player kept breaking all their character's bone, always hurting it or giving it one less lib or something.

How annoying is that? As they both got in trouble i think, even though it was only the one wh should off ):

I have a question about someone's reply--
they created another character with the same name, just changed the gender, and i said they already had a character named that. they replied with:
"She comitted suicide"
would thhat be against the rules? i found it sort of offending, and i didnt really like the thought, so i sent them a PM. they're reply?
"I dont care i quit any way."

I think the person handed that really poorly. (Though as a note it doesn't matter if they have a character with the same name. It could cause a bit of confusion, but as long as the people in the RP work hard to make sure everyone knows who they were intending them to speak to. Kinda like having two kids in the class named the same thing. Maybe one of them would develop a nickname to distinguish them.)

What they should have done was 1. Point out that two characters can have the same name. 2. Say "Oh I didn't see that, here I'll change it." or 3. "I'm really attached to that name, would you be willing to change yours?"

Having their character commit suicide was in very poor taste. You do not need to have your character die to leave an RP. Just have them leave the group for one reason or another and never come back.

It is not against the rules to quit an RP without any notice.

Technically they didn't break any of the rules (Unless the un-detailed mention of suicide is over PG-13 which I don't think it is.). However if you are ever really offended by a post and you think others would be offended as well you can report it and say 1. Why it was offensive to you. 2. That you weren't sure if it broke a rule, but you felt that others would also be offended by the content.

ok, thanks, but the caracter wasnt mine, they both were theirs, and the only thing changed was the gender, i think it's because they wanted to mate with another wolf because it was played by someone she mated with in another RP. atleast that's what she said in the PM.

Dear Tess: I need help! I have a wolf rp and a person on it is beign AWFUL! made a charrie and this i whta happened

#1: her charrie gave one of my charries second degree burns becasue he liked the same girl, then he cussed a bit.....

#2: she said that her floated on a "Magic Cloud" away so that no one in the rp could find her, not even me! but I own the rp, and its my choice, I can go anywhere I want right?

#3: her charrie snapped at April my charrie (who is the alpha female) when she told him to knock it off

#4: my charrie April, the alpha female, finally banished him to the stone den for three days, and he told her this "Hey! Stay out if my Love life tootse!" and disrespected her, so i threatened to ban him form my rp, but he wouldnt listen and started making excuses!!

#5: I FINALLY had to ban him from my rp because I didnt know what else to do, I told him he was banned, but he said he wouldt leave and hje wont leave my rp!!! he keeps being mean and he is RULING the rp!!

I'm pretty sure you can message a RP mod if you are having issues with someone not leaving your RP when you ask. However I would like to point out that three of those five things ought to be completely acceptable.

Unless you made a rule saying that characters cannot harm one another then it is acceptable that the player had the wolf take actions to try and burn your character. However (like all fighting) it should have been phrased along the lines of: "So-and-so summoned fire and tossed it at his rival in love." What I mean is they shouldn't say "So-and-so gave second degree burns to his rival." You should always say what you intend to do.

Having their character snap at yours is also acceptable. It's not them snapping at you. It's their wolf character being disrespectful to the alpha. That might get them shunned by the other wolves.

The same thing goes for number four. Unless you made some special rule that said "You must always obey the alpha." Then they can disobey an authority figure. It's a story, how many stories have you read where nobody ever got in trouble for breaking the rules?

An option for you is just to message all the other players and tell them to ignore his posts. Explain that he has not been playing nicely with others and that he will be treated (in this RP only) as an annoyance, but do not respond or argue with him, it's most likely what he wants. If he doesn't stop posting or starts spamming the thread report him for doing so. Spamming is against the rules.
