Fang looked back at the Harumi, his face serious. "The clan cats around here, they're are a bunch of cowards with no sense of right. They will slit you throat before you can fight back. You'll need someone to watch your back," he meowed, getting back up to his paws.

Cedarclaw got back on his feet. Immediately he thrust all his force into Lighteningpaw nocking him off his feet. "That was good, but never think the battle is over just yet."

"Oh." He rose to his feet as well, flinching at the description Fang gave. His tail swished with apprehension behind him. He had no choice but to place his trust in him now, especially since these 'Clan-kitties' were so dangerous. They certainly didn't look the part, but... perhaps that was just a false representation? "But what'll happen if we run into one? How would we fight 'em off?"

Lightningpaw leaped back up and tackled Cedarclaw, pinning him with a paw on his throat. "Oh, I didn't." He said with a cockygrin.

Fang

Fang snarled at the thought, lashing his tail. "We'll fight back. Cowardice will never compare to alertness and skill. If they come, we'll me ready for them," he growled, flexing his claws.

Cedarclaw thrust Lighteningpaw off of him. "First off you never pin a cat down on the throat no matter what, second don't get cocky you win no popularity that way."

He padded over to cedarclaw. "Thank you for showing Lighningpaw how to fight, but last time I checked I was his mentor and I train him." He said his neck fur ruffling a little.

Looking absolutely terrified at the thought, Harumi's ears dropped, fright evident upon his features. "But I don't know how!" he protested. Even though he was around warrior age, Kamuy had always been the one to protect him and be there for him in general. He'd said there hadn't been a need for him to fight as long as he had him. Perhaps it would be a nice time to try and start, but he needed a teacher. Vaguely he wondered if Fang knew how, since he'd obviously been the one to suggest it.

Lightningpaw flattened his ears. "Well I don't want to be popular, I want to be respected," he almost growled at the deputy.

Fang

Fang wasn't surprised that the tomcat couldn't fight. He had this...innocence that intruged him. He started to pad to his den, but turned to Harumi. "Would you like me to teach you?," he asked.

"Relax Moontail, no harm has been done. In fact I believe Ligheningpaw has learned something, and I doubt the next foe he meets in tail won't care who he learned it from" Cedarclaw knew Moontail was right about being Lighteningpaw's mentor but he wouldn't be told that he couldn't teach an apprentice. He looked over to Lighteningpaw, "It is good you wish to be respected, chase that thought and you will achive."

Nightfang finished grooming himself, he lay down in the soft sun light and absorbed it's warmth.

Moontails neck fur layed flat. "I will make a request to my sister that the next apprentice you can train." He said completely ijmoring his other comments
