owlpaw yawned, opening his eyes. it seemed very late for a noble apprentice to wake up this late. once the tom ducked his head out of the den for his fellow apprentices, he noticed it wasn't a bright day again. he looked across and noticed everyone mourning one of his fellow apprentices, rowanpaw. he bowed his head sadly. he would pay his respects later when the crowd had died down.

Sandclaw felt tears falling onto the forest floor as he sat beside the willow tree. He looked sadly down at his paws and curled his tail around his paws. Why does Hollytail not understand? I didn't see her in awhile because of the journey... so what if I like Splash? Hollytail's just a big mouse brain and I deserve someone better. he thought selfishly.
