He dipped his broad head. "To the beach it is." He started towards the beach, keeping level with the other cats as not to seem like he was leading them. Stopping on the sandy shore, he shrugged. "I guess we split up."

Boulderclaw

He was going to hunt on his own. He knew some of the best places to hunt like where all the Starlings, voles, rabbits, or mice were. He went towards the eastern part of the territory and started to look around for prey. He noticed a small mouse,eating something. He crouched down, waiting for the perfect time to strike. He pounced on the mouse, squishing it, and killing it.

"No no it's too late now." Roaming heart said and stumbled sleepily out of the den. He stopped outside for a quick grooming before looking around at the camp.

"F-fishing?" Nightecho practically whispered as he followed at the back of the patrol. He wasn't a very good fisher. He preferred something he could jump on and pin down.


Glass eyes was now halfway to the other side of the water by now. She was getting a little tired but the blind she at was determined to make it there

Shiningpaw nodded and waited to be assigned a group, she preferred to hunt alone, but in this case it was necessary to group up... Unless... "I could go on my own." She blurted out before she could stop herself. She stared at Shadowpool, waiting to be told that she was too young and thinking of a comeback.

"You can hunt on land." he told Nightecho, heading towards the shore. Seeing Shiningpaw, he shrugged, "Go on." Sitting down, he sat over the water, and made sure that his shadow wasn't on it. Waiting, he watched as fish swam by until he swiped his paw in, tossing one out. With a quick bite, he killed it, and was ready for another.

Sprucewind started calling out the hunting patrol, and he looked at the deputy to see if he'd be called. He wasn't(since I was off), but he stood up and left camp anyway since he was getting restless. He padded the opposite direction the patrol went, sure that they wouldn't want him scaring off their prey, and sniffed the air so he could catch something himself.

He buried the mouse to collect it later, but now he had to find some other prey. He sniffed the air and caught a Starling scent. He followed it until he found it. He crouched down, but made a sound, so the Starling flew off. He grunted, annoyed and decided to go find some other prey.

Silentpaw looked at the water with his blue eyes, so amazed by its blue color, he raced ahead into the water, already knowing to be careful of the waves and currents
