Oakstar gave her a gentle smile, "Of course I'm not mad, how could I be? You shouldn't be punished for how you feel and you haven't broken the code."

Foxpelt padded over to Flametail, lightly dipping her head. "Hello Flametail. How are you today?"

it and then 'hey another mouse' and then they catch it and then 'hey, a vole!' and so on. Now, can we continue role-playing?}

Oakstar sighed softly, "We are not mates, you have not had kits, no harm done. Feelings can change and can not be helped. You have done nothing wrong." He replied.

"B-but I'm not allowed to love at all!" Hawkflight meowed in frustration, scratching her own face in anger. "I want to live my life the way I want to! But the Clan needs me! I can't abandon Sagepaw halfway through her training, and there could be some emergency..." She paused, trying to calm herself. Hawkflight took a deep, quavering breath. "You don't know what it's like, Oakstar...Watching cats being free to love who they love, helping kits being born day after day, and wanting it so badly..." She looked in his eyes again, hers now brimmed with tears. Blood dripped from her cheek where she clawed herself.

Oakstar frowned sadly before pausing in thought, "Maybe after Sagepaw becomes a full medicine cat, you could retire, I suppose. Step down if you're still that unhappy. The cats might not look at you the same way, and it would be frowned upon, but then you would be free to love." He suggested softly.
