Quietly, he slipped out of the den, unable to sleep once again. He silently walked out of the den, but ended up tripping on something outside of the apprentices den. "Foxdung". he said a little louder than he meant. He did his best to run out of camp quietly, and began to slow down.

Ivypaw jumped, hearing someone outside the den at this time of night. Lifting her head, she walked out of the den. Now was a great time to test her wings. So, flapping them a bit, she lifted into the air. Her eyes lit up, and she moved her tail downwards, rising up toward the night sky. After that, she got the hang of flight pretty easily. She was soon soaring over the trees, using her tail to move up, down, Left, Or right. Down below her, she saw Hawkpaw. Diving down, She opened her wings, landing on a branch above him. She leapt silently to another, making sure Hawkpaw didnt see her.

Hawkpaw

Hawkpaw continued on, until he reached his destination. It was a small clearing that no cat would look twice at, except for him. This was the last place he had seen his parents before they told him to run and he left them to fight the dogs. He sat down and buried his head in his fur, fighting down tears. This had only been 3 moons ago, and it was still a sore subject for him. He stood up, and paced around the area slowly.

I leapt to the nearest branch, watching as the other apprentice, Hawkpaw, walked around the clearing. What is he doing...? I thought to myself.

Hawkpaw

Hawkpaw sat down. Looking around, he noticed that some of the branches were broken on the trees. He began to realize what had happened... He had been followed. "Who's out there?", he asked.

Ivypaw

I had no choice but to reveal myself. So I glided out of the tree, making it look like a tumble. Pulling myself up, I looked over at Hawkpaw. "I saw you leave camp.. And followed you out here. I just wanted to see if you where Ok.." I mewed.

Hawkpaw

Anger flared up inside of him, but he took a deep breath, the she cat was only being nice. "It's fine", he managed. "C'mon, it wouldn't look good if you got in trouble on your first day as an apprentice." Okay, he told himself. I'll just sneak out after she is back in the apprentice den.

Ivypaw could tell the tom was angry. "I-I'm sorry.. I can leave if you want me to.." Her ears folded back.
