Moonstripe hissed. There were two foxes again. She jumped under the current fox she was fighting, scraping its belly, then grabbing its front paw, baiting down hard. The fox fell over and she tried to bite its neck, but it twisted its head around and ripped of a chunk of her fur.

"Get off of my, fox-breath!" Couragestar snapped, kicking upwards with his hind paws into the fox's stomach. The fox lurched forward and crouched on the ground, Couragestar leaped at it, scratching his claws along it's side.

Vinefoot glared at Leopardpaw. "Don't act like that." He mewed, leaving camp. He dashed through the forest, looking for any foxes that were left.

He wasn't too far from the edge of the gorge when he found another fox, looking for prey. Silently, Vinefoot stalked around in the underground until he was downwind of the animal. Suddenly, he leaped forward, landing on the fox's shoulders.

Finally, he leapt into it's side. It fell over at the sudden impact, and he rushed in and clamped his jaws around the fox's neck, only letting go after it went limp. He blinked some blood out of his eyes and looked around the area.

"Foxes attacked and Tigerpaw got hurt,"- he flicked his tail toward the half-conscious apprentice- "A few CourageClan cats decided that they would stick their ugly noses in our business." he snarled at Moonfire.

"Forget about them!" she hissed at the two toms. "Right now we need to find Scorchedwhisker so he can take care of Tigerpaw." There was a silence...then, being kind of impatient, Shiningtail said, "I happen to know a bit of medicine cat stuff...." she said, looking through the piles of medicine. "Let's see here...is it- comfrey? Oh yeah, it is- for broken bones...." she muttered to herself. She slid the comfrey over to Tigerpaw, who was stirring, and told him to eat it.

"What happened?" he said. His eyes were blurry and his left front leg throbbed and ached with serious pain. He heard Shiningtail, and ate the herb. It had a foul taste on his tongue and he wanted to spit it out. Again, pain seized his leg and he felt like crying out, but when he saw Morningpaw sitting just outside the den- looking at him with worry in her eyes- the pain left him. It just made him relax and feel better when he knew she was around.

(XD Tigerpaw has a huge crush on Morningpaw, btw)

"Crow-food eating scum." Couragestar growled. He looked around. His head was throbbing, and his head was bleeding, making it hard for him to see. His leg still hurt from being thrown into a tree, and he felt dizzy. I don't think I can fight like this for much longer. He thought. I don't want a fox taking another one of my lives. He dragged himself into a low-hanging branch on a tree and slumped down. He tried to look to make sure Moonstripe was all right, but his eyes were already drifting shut. He dug his claws into the branch he was on and hoped he wouldn't fall.

Flamebreeze dashed into the clearing where the stench of foxes was strongest, but only saw one at the base of a tree, trying to get someone who had climbed into it. She heard little fighting around her. Good. She thought. We may get through this with no death. She launched herself at it and slid underneath it. She scratched it's stomach, leaving large gashes. The fox howled in pain and tried to bite her, but she slid out from under it, only suffering a small bite on her tail. She reared up to start bringing blows to his face and shoulders, backing up if needed.
