Hawkstar stretched and chewed on a piece of mouse. I hope that things will be quiet in the clan for a while, he thought, although he began to wonder whether or not they would. After all, the gathering was not too far away.

Ospreyfeather walked over to his leader. "Worried?"

Rivermist opened her eyes, softly purring. She tried to stretch her right front paw, but she felt a stinging pain coming from its ankle. "Urgh..." She grumbled. She hoped that she would be able to go hunting now that the badger was gone, but she knew better then to go hunting on a sprained foot. It must have happened when I fell off the badger....... I guess I'll go for a walk, as least to give me something to do. She thought, standing up.

Hawkstar looked up at Ospreyfeather. He chewed another piece of his prey, swallowed, then answered. "A little bit," he mewed. "I hope that there isn't any trouble at the gathering. Although, knowing Jaystar there will be."
Jaystar was that one leader that was coming up with accusations to throw at the other clans during the gatherings every couple of moons.

Skyfrost stood up carefully, treading quickly towards the exit of the medicine cat den. She glanced around the camp, not seeing Treefur anywhere. She walked towards the leader's den, swerving to avoid Talontip, dropping her gaze, hoping he wouldn't spot her. She stopped outside the leader's den, where she said as confidently as she could,
"Hawkstar. May I please come in?"

Hawkstar rose from where he was sitting, surprised to hear Skyfrost.
"Yes, come in," he said.
