GoldenGears
GoldenGears worked all night, making designs for her fake wings. Before she had never really wanted to fly that much, despite all of her failed attempts, but now, after seeing Lightning Dash, she just knew she had to fly. GoldenGears hadn't gotten any sleep, and she had no idea what time it was, but all that didn't matter, her wings were almost done! There was just one thing... she was missing a small gear to finish the wings movment, and she couldn't think of any place to get one. GoldenGears squinted her eyes as she limped out the door. The blinding sun seemed even more blinding then before! She limped down the path, in search of a place she could get a little gear.

Lightning Dash

Lightning rested on a cloud, her eyes closed as she listened to a bird chirping in a nearby tree. She yawned, then stood, twitching her wings as she looked down at Ponyville. Stretching out her wings, she flew down, landing on a building.

GoldenGears saw Lightning Dash one the building and waved a hoof hello. "Hey Lightning!" She called, placing her hoof back on the path. "Do you by any chance know a place I can get gears?" she asks "I need a nice small one for the wings I'm making!" she added proudly! She just loved talking about things she made!

Arrow Tip saw Lightning Dash and followed her with interest. He'd seen her zooming around Ponyville before, but he never got a chance to talk to her, pegasus to pegasus. He swore he'd seen her around Cloudsdale as well. He folded his wings in neatly and made sure his wing bandages had not fallen off... Nopony would want to see the scars on his wings. "Hi, I'm Arrow Tip. I wanted to know if you'd like to join me for a drink of something? I've seen you around and I'd like to get to know you!" Arrow smiled, flicking his tail.

Lightning looked down from her place on the building, seeing Golden Gears and another pony. "So far, I haven't really seen anywhere to get another gear... Maybe there's something in the Marketplace." She looked at the other pony, who she heard call himself Arrow Tip, "Hi Arrow Tip, I would love to get something to drink."

GoldenGears nodded and gave a quick "thanks anyways" and limped off, seeing that someone else came to talk and she didn't want to be rude.
GoldenGears limped along the marketplace like Lightning Dash suggested, but she had a funny feeling there would be no gears. After all, not many poines needed gears in PonyVille.
