Yuri dragged his plump rabbit back to camp, he had gotten over his clumsy kill. Now he followed determinedly behind the patrol.

Ryuu scented that Copper and Soul were together, letting out a sigh of annoyance, he headed back to camp. He would scold the apprentice later, maybe make him do some harsh exercises, at least Copper would think he was getting stronger that way.

Shiko still waited at the entrance, waiting for the return of the other foxes.

((Ryuu, Copper, Shiko and Hope were attacked by the bear. Copper is with Soul and going back to camp, Ryuu is also walking back to camp. There's a hunting patrol out. Hope is sorting through herbs and Shiko is waiting for the others to come back.))

Leaf Fall led the patrol back to camp, carrying the fat doe he had caught. Jakei padded beside him with a rabbit of his own and Leaf Fall's eyes gleamed in satisfaction. He walked into camp and saw Shiko. "What is it?" He asked, concerned for a moment.

Jakei looked up to see Shiko waiting at the entrance and fluffed out his fur against the wind. He dropped the rabbit and asked, "Is something wrong Shiko?"

Jupiter padded at the back of the patrol, keeping an eye out for danger or predators. She stopped as the others did and looked around confused. "Why aren't we walking into camp?" She wondered out loud. She lifted her head and scented a light trail of bear. The hackles on her shoulders raised slightly. Bears brought death and trouble. She would have to report that later.

[Calypso Sky]

Raven followed Leaf Fall and Jakei, the two rabbits dangled out of her jaws by the ears, and her mouth watered. The patrol reached the camp and Raven slid by the alchemist and the others, she placed her rabbits on the food pile and lay down outside of the hawthorn bush. She'd wait for Soul's return before eating, hopefully the rest of the leash would too, then they could all feast together.

"We were attacked by a bear while gathering moss... Ryuu chased it off, but earlier Ryuu and Copper had a fight. I can't find Soul and Ryuu ran off to find Copper." Shiko shook her head sadly.

Yuri's eyes widened in horror as he heard this news, Copper, Soul and Ryuu could be dead by now. Yuri padded into camp and deoposited his rabbit on the food pile.

Jupiter shook her head in horror. "Shiko, do you want me to go and look for them?" She asked, stepping up to stand in front of him.

Leaf Fall shook his head sadly. "Oh dear. I hope they are alright." He murmured before walking into camp and dropping the rabbits he had caught. He praised Yuri on his catch, but it was half-hearted, weighed down by the severity of the news.

"No..." Shiko whispered, "we can't afford to have more foxes in danger, rest now, Jupiter." She swept her tails out of the way to allow the warrior and hunters to pass more easily.

Jupiter dipped her head. "Ok Shiko." She sighed and walked into camp.

[keydemon]

((Meh, no problem, I'll take you off.))

Ryuu returned to camp, pushing past Shiko, he left a smear of blood on her white pelt. Knowing what Shiko would say, he went over and sat down in the alchemist den.

Shiko opened her mouth to say something, but Ryuu just pushed past her. She wrinkled her nose at the blood he left on her pelt. Sighing at his grumpiness, Shiko followed Ryuu into the alchemist den. "You're doing great." Shiko told Hope. Shiko grabbed some mint, daisy leaves and cattail cotton. She mixed the mint and daisy together and chewed it up into a poultice. "You see this? Daisy soothes the wound and mint disinfects and prevents infection. You use cattail to plug up the wound, so it won't bleed anymore." She smeared the poultice onto the wound and stuffed the cattail into his wound. Shiko got a wild grape vine and tied it around the fluff. "Vines can hold treatments in place." Shiko told the young fox. "You're done." Ryuu immediately left and flopped down at the edge of the clearing.
