Dovestar looked down at Icekit, her gaze stern. "I'll talk about your punishment later, but I've got to help Grayheart now. Do not leave the nursery," Dovestar ordered, padding over to Grayheart.

((There's already a medicine cat apprentice, so I'd rather you didn't... Dovestar has seen many cats giving birth before, so she can probably help.))

[champeo]

(Ok. Pretend Poppypaw is just a normal apprentice then, with Cedarpelt as her mentor.)

Can I help?" Poppypaw quietly asked. "I dont know much about herbs, but iv'e watched Blacktail and his apprentice before."

Icekit looked at Dovepelt, her eyes full of sorrow and fear. " Whats going on with that kit? " She sqeaked.

[Seasonal]

Dovestar paused for a moment, not exactly sure what to say. "That kit's head is a bit too big compared to its mother's," she quickly mewed. She looked down at Grayheart. "Grayheart, are you alright? We need to get that kit out, or there could be some serious problems." Dovestar knew that the kit could have stopped breathing by now and was determined to save it.

[Pk.]

Icekit stared at the stuck kit again. " Can i pull it out?! " She asked, jumping to her paws.

[champeo]

"NO." Cedarpelt yowled to the kit.

[Pk.]

Icekit backed away frightened, looking at Cedarpelt, tears welled in her eyes. " I-im sorry. "

[champeo]

Cedarpelt softened. "Sorry, I'm just scared for my mate."

[Seasonal]

"Cedarpelt is just concerned for his mate. He didn't mean what he said," Dovestar mewed, crouching down and giving the kit's head a lick. She looked at Cedarpelt, her glare cold. "Cedarpelt, go get Grayheart some poppy seeds," she suggested.

Icekit looked up at Dovestar, she wiped her tears away quickly, then looked away.
