(Thank you all for being patient! This time, take a few seconds to reread the rules and think before posting. I follow the baseball policy. Three strikes, you're out! I have edited the front page with all the new cats. If you want to know mentors and apprentices, check there. I will not tell you if you ask me. Try to remember that there are people that can not be on here every second of every day. Namely, me. If there are two people on here and no one else, do not roleplay for two pages! The rest of us will be expected to read it and that's not fair. Again, thank you for waiting. Please read what I say. It's usually important! x3 By the way, happy 16th Fairy!!! ^^)
WaterClan
Stormcall dipped the moss into the lake, his head spinning. He could barely hold still, but he knew that Dawnsinger needed as much water as possible. He pulled it out, the greenish substance dripping with lake water. Treading carefully, he headed back to the camp, counting his pawsteps. Why couldn't he get there any faster? Seconds inched by and the water continued to drip. It would run out before the desperate tom even got to camp! These thoughts filling his mind, Stormcall barely noticed as he stepped through the tall grass that was the entrance to WaterClan camp.
Gathering
Nightfeather's head whipped around. Ashfeather? It sounded like something was wrong. He stepped out of the circle while his two siblings watched him curiously. They had not heard Ashfeather's call. Nightfeather stepped towards where he had heard his mate, craning his neck and looking around anxiously. There they were! Foxflame looked horrible, like he was about to collapse or cry. The black tom rushed to his mate's side, looking into her eyes for more clues as to what was going on. Ashfeather was worried about something; Foxflame was almost in tears... Whatever it was, the ginger tom obviously needed some help before he collapsed in front of all eight clans. Nightfeather stepped on the other side of Foxflame and let the tom lean against him. "We're right over there," he whispered to Ashfeather, nodding his head in the direction of his siblings. The entourage slowly made its way over to the other two black cats, their heads bobbing in curiosity. When they reached Nightfire and Nightfall, Foxflame sat down and was quickly surrounded by his friends. He looked at the ground, dead silent. Ashfeather started licking the top of her brother's head gently, trying to soothe him. "We have good reason to believe that Petalsong was injured in the battle with SunClan." The three siblings exchanged a worried glance. They all knew that Petalsong was Foxflame's whole world. The ginger tabby's body started shaking as if he was fighting back sobs. Ashfeather thought back to the conversation with Creampaw. What had he said exactly? After a moment, her eyes lit up. "We also have reason to believe that the kits were born!" She crouched next to her brother and lifted his chin with her paw, trying to meet his eyes. "Your kits, Foxflame! Just think about it." Foxflame remained silent. Nightfire cleared her throat, finally realizing what was going on and preparing her effort at comfort. "Yeah. I wonder how many she had. She was huge when I last saw her, and that was a couple moons ago!" The firey-eyed she-cat shot a sideways glance at her silent older brother, who shrugged. He didn't know if that would make Foxflame feel any better. In his opinion, a lot of kits was a misfortune.
Skystar fidgeted in her seat on the Highbranch. All the clans were here, so why couldn't they get the gathering over with already? Seeing that no one else was going to take action, the white she-cat rose and padded to the edge of the branch, curling her tail over her back. The noise in the clearing slowly died down as cats noticed the most feared leader of the eight clans. (Skystar's scary. ^,.,^) "Cats of the PowerClans!" she began, enjoying the sound of her voice echoing off of the ground below her. "It is time we were silent and gathered together under the leaves of the Centertree." She waited as stray cats drifted towards the enormous trunk, their necks craned upwards. "I would like to start by reporting that IceClan is doing well this leaffall. Prey is plentiful and our warriors are fit. As you all know, there was a battle with DarkClan. IceClan participated in that battle." She tried to leave the details shady in case Sunstar wanted to keep his secrets to himself. "I need to report an act of rebellion and treason that could very well be punishable by death if I so choose it." Gasps emanated from the crowd, and the striped leader smiled cruelly. "I was attacked by my very own deputy." Skystar let her gaze sweep over the clearing below her as her posture become more threatening. "As punishment, Winterfur will be set adrift in the lake for several days. If she uses her powers, she will be killed." The murderous deputy was not getting off easy. "This will not be tolerated in any clan! If I hear of any other treacherous acts such as this, I will deal with the perpetrators personally." She paused a moment, her eyes burning holes through the warriors below as they stared up at her, dead silent. Satisfied, the tabby she-cat stalked back to her seat beside the other leaders.
SunClan
Flowerface wanted to cry. But she knew she could do no such thing in front of the kits. "Alright then, Ravenkit, I have something back here that I'd like you to eat." She snagged a chamomile leaf and a small poppy seed that should be enough to calm him down so the worried kit could sleep and set them down in front of him. "Featherkit, can you look up at me?" Flowerface wanted to see exactly what the newly-blind kit was capable of before informing her of her handicap.
