SunClan's Story [New Thread]

"One moment." said Eaglestar. She looked around, spotting an apprentice who didn't look busy. "Lightpaw!" she called, and the small apprentice hurried over.
"Yes, Eaglestar?" asked Lightpaw.
"I'd like you to show these three where they can spend the night." said Eaglestar, waving her tail towards the kittypets. She looked back at him. "This is Lightpaw. She'll show you around, and I'm sure she'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about life in a clan. If you'll excuse me, I have to go organize those patrols." she turned away, then paused, looking back. "Oh, I'm sorry. I never did get your names, did I?"

Wolfpaw grumbled.
"Sure, Viperpaw." She replied, with a sigh.

"Frostfeather!" Wolfpaw cried, wheeling around. The screams had stopped; and her mentor wasn't anywhere to be found.
"Frostfeather?" Wolfpaw asked warily. "Stay here." Wolfpaw said to her siblings, looking around. She went back, only to find one missing.
"Where... Where is..." Wolfpaw didn't even say his name, and she saw her brother with a large limp walking thier way.

Wolfpaw licked her leg, stinging inflaming her mouth and joint.

Fluffy motioned towards Princess, "This is Princess..Jeffrey.. and I'm Fluffy."

Eaglestar smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Princess, Jeffrey, Fluffy." she looked at them each in turn, hoping the repetition would help her remember the names for once. "Now, I really should go. I'll talk to you again in the morning." With that, she bounded off towards the rest of the clan, leaving them with Lightpaw.

Lightpaw looked up at the three of them curiously. She'd never met a kittypet before. After a moment she nodded. "Come on, I'll show you where you'll be sleeping." she announced, trotting past them in the direction of the tree. She paused, looking back to make sure they were following.

Redfern spotted frostwing and called for her, he stood back up and lead the she cat over to frostwing "hello frostwing this is rainsong she would like to join our clan, have you seen eagalstar or pebble run anywhere?"he asked with a smile

Rainsong
Rainsong patiently awaited, flicking her silky tail as much as she could as it was bobbed, trying to smile at the shyer female. She was a little nervous herself, so she felt a little more at ease with a female who seemed naturally inclined towards the disposition of solemnity.

[Shiko Hayashi]

Duskblaze's ears twitched as she caught the sound of a cat, unfamiliar to her, talk. The scent of something foreign and bleh twoleg are what got her truly and she stood up from her hiding place in camp to watch as a cat with very long fur padded forwards along with two others. All of them were unfamiliar in her eyes and seemed very out of place with their far too smooth pelts. The calico however bristled slightly as her protective streak came over her. She didn't venture out though but her silver eyes narrowed and sharp watched them carefully. In her mind she though she was confused. 'Why are all these cats here? And more importantly, where are they all coming from?!' The Queen was already nervous of anyone non-clan as it was, but this was surely too much. Still though Duskblaze didn't duck down and curl up however. She wasn't a coward, and she wasn't about to act like one any time soon, especially with her kits on the way. Instead she headed over towards them, eyes narrowed slightly. "And just who do you three happen to be?"

(( Sorry for late reply everyone. I had a swim meet, and then I unexpectedly was driven by my dad to my stepmom's friends house and we stayed the rest of the day there. I hope I'm not too late on this response. If I am, I'll just delete this and make a new post. Also, I have a possible character coming in who'll replace Grey. As much as I love him, my old boy isn't fitting very well in this prairie setting. ))

Sorrelkit

Sorrelkit, despite feeling a moment of dark fury at being treated like her kit, relaxed beneath the soothing motion of Duskblaze's tongue. She watched as the she-cat confronted the three cat's, bright eyes taking it all in. Despite this however, her mind was elsewhere. To the phantom melody and the twolegged tom who stared at her with amber eyes. She wasn't surprised that she found herself quietly humming the tune under her breath. It was slow, beautiful, and almost like a mesmerizing lullaby that captured all's attention. Beautiful.

Fluffy bowed goodbye and followed the she-cat.

Lightpaw led them to the roots of the tree where many cats were already sleeping. "Normally we'd have moss for nests, but you heard Eaglestar; we can't go out looking for it. You'll have to make do with grass." she nodded towards the nests of the sleeping cats. "Any questions? About the nests, or anything else?" She asked, though she sounded a little distracted, and wasn't smiling as she usually was.

Tigerclaw sighed then blinked, remembering he wished to speak with Eaglestar about Wolfpaw and becoming her mentor. His glowing eyes looked around for her familiar dusty brown pelt.
