Fallensun hissed loudly. Burning branches were beginning to fall, and Viperstar was nowhere to be seen. And neither was Nightshade. His tail lashed, and he let his anger and fear pour over him and he sprinted full on.

Scarletfur let out a screech of pain as a burning branch fell on her. She managed to drag herself out, but her shoulder was heavily burned.

''Scarletfur!'' Dustcloud went to her side, giving her shoulder a quick lick. "C'mon, not far now."

Viperstar looked around, trying to help them find a way out. "I'm coming in!" He leapt over a branch, finding the other cats. "We need to get out of he.." He was cut off as an oak tree collapsed between him and the others. He tried to scramble up but then realised.. his paw was stuck.

Nightshade runs as fast as she dares through the blazing trees. She was barely breathing, in the hopes that she wouldn't breath in as much smoke, for that would be the end of it. Stupid Tom! Though I guess I am not quite smart either for going after him, she thinks to herself, blinking away the tears that were forming do to the smoke. Unable to see very far, she slows to a jog, before calling out. "Viperstar! Badgermask! Anyone?" She waits for a moment, coughing as she gained a lungful of smoke. She keeps her ears up and perked for any sounds, even though the heat of the flames was quite uncomfortable to the insides of her ears. Finally catching her breath back, she continues forward, scanning her surroundings for the cats.

Viperstar perked his ears. He had one fallen tree in front of him, and one fallen tree behind him. "Nigh..Nightshade?" He called out.

Talonwind - with the Clan
i thrust Twilightkit at Lilystream "You take the kit and I'll help Sunstorm! Hurry! Catch up with the others..." i say nodding to Snowspirt and Fishpool and helping them lift Sunstorm, the rest of the clan was running for its life

Lilystream - with the Clan
i take Twilightkit and race back to Applefall "Dont you dare drop behind becase you think you're not important!" i meow through a mouthful of kit-fur "Come on! Help me and the others with the rest of the kits!"

Foxheart - on Moon Island
i hear a voice over the roaring of the flames "Nightshade?" i yowl "We're alright! But Viperstar has his paw stuck under a fallen tree!"
Then i realise with a jolt that i can hear creaking above us "WATCH OUT!" i yowl as another branch tumbles down, i leap towards Viperstar trying desperately to get out of the way of the branch. it tumbles down

Leafstorm - on Moon Island
i cry out as the falling branch tumbles down between me and the others trapping me in a cage of burning leaves and twigs "HELP!" i call curling up as small as possible to avoid the flickering flames around me


(Yes Foxheart is Milknose's older brother! And the 'love square' thing will be good! Milknose can eventually realise that Dustcloud is the cat for her not Talonwind and she can replace Nightfur in the 'love square' as Nightfur hasnt posted...)

Nightshades ears perk up the instant she hears Viperstars call followed by Foxhearts. She doesn't respond, but instead simply darts towards the sound of their voices. Flames kept licking at her fur, but she managed to get away with as few burns as possible. Soon, a familiar shape starts to take form from the thick smoke. She managed to find Viperstar, and she could only assume that the others were on the other side of the large fallen oak. Slowing to a jog, she moves over next to Viperstar, examining the area which his paw was stuck under. She knew the branxh would be too heavy for herself to lift alone, but she had to do something. She didn't even hear the other tree that was starting to collapse, noting it as background noise.

Sunstorm coughed. "Save.. yourselves.."

"Leafstorm!" Viperstar called out in distress. If his sister was going to die, he'd die along side her. "Leafstorm! Are you okay!?" He saw Nightshade standing above him. "You have to get me out of here." He yelped.

i scramble up over the branch to Viperstar "We cant see her! She's in a cage of branches and leaves!" Tell him panic rising in my throat "We can't leave her! She's still alive!"

i cough, smoke fills the air around me and burns my eyes and scorches my lungs, *i cant breathe!* i think *I need air!*[/color]

"We wont leave anyone behind!" i insist walking forwards supporting Sunstorm on one side with Snowspirit on the other and Fishpool coaxing her on. We are making slow progress.

Snowspirt shook her head slightly. "We're not leaving you here Sunstorm." she said, while trying to keep her jaws shut against the smoke. Her eyes were starting to burn and the smoke mde her cough. "Come on, we can make it." she mewed, trying to keep an eye on her clan mates.

Icethorn noticed Viperstar run off to help the rest of the patrol that was still out, and he turned tail and quickly ran after his leader. The flames flickered around him and he caught sight of the other cats. "Watch out!" he yowled as another branch fell beside the cats.

Nightshade smiles a bit, nodding once. "What do you think im here for...?" She questions softly, before starting to dig. Digging at the ash covered ground was the only thing she could think of that could possibly get his paw loosed at the very least. She scowls at the ground, ashes and embers burning her pads as she digs, yet she ignores the pain just like she used to when she was a rouge. She was indeed only one cat, and couldn't help everyone, but she could certainly try at the very least. She barely hears Icethorns warning, but forces her body to continue digging until Viperstar was able to free himself.
