SunClan's Story [New Thread]

Fluffy's ears flattened against his head, his eyes wide. He was both afraid of the so called 'rouge', although he was also relieved that he was in the safety of these 'clan cats' while the danger was about. He gave a quick, fearful glance towards Princess. The fat black and white tom only glared at him. He just didn't understand his fear. Fluffy looked out at the huge circle of unfamiliar cats. Would this be their new life? He noticed Jeffrey sitting amongst them. He was either brave, or ignorant. Fluffy looked into the sky, and closed his eyes, calmy taking in the once overwhelming scents of the clearing. He opened his eyes to see Princess hopping slowly towards the group. Why couldn't he be like them? Why did he have to be so insecure and frightened? Fluffy forced himself to step forwards, although he was hesitant he eventually took his place in the crowd.

Duskpaw was still connected to Wolfpaw when he heard the slightest hint of a crush, and with his mind picking it up he jerked his tail away with his eyes going wide. He never knew Wolfpaw had the slightest liking to him, but so far he didn't have no crush to either one of his friends. He couldn't tell Wolfpaw he was planning on waiting, but he could at least let her know he is her friend. After listening to Viperpaw speak, her tail flicked over to his side where no cuts were located to talk to him. She told him she felt the same way when they first met with a grin, and he only silently laughed before hearing Eaglestar call for an all cat meeting. He didn't move from his already weakened body, so he stayed in the exact spot he was as the rest of the cats gathered under the tree. As he sat, he could feel the cold wet blood on his pads while she spoke, but still didn't move as Eaglestar's eyes swept around the camp in a meeting about the attack. Grinner's attack. He hated that cat, the murder, his nightmare, his past, and his demon. He hated him, and Eaglestar was right about one thing..he will be killed soon, either by his paw or another cat.

Viperpaw sat down with a sigh. 'So much for that patrol,' she thought a little disappointed. She'd wanted to go, but there was no use in going if she was injured. Hearing her leader's strict orders, the tortoiseshell was glad she'd at least gone out for a little bit, and if nothing she at least got to stretch her legs. That alone was enough for her. So with that she got back up and went back over to Wolfpaw and Duskpaw and laid down between them. Deciding to groom her fur and at least get the dirt and blood off her fur she began quietly, taking care to make sure she was clean. When she was finished she looked over at the two of them, her golden eyes gleamin before she rolled her eyes. "Geez you both need a grooming session," she grumbled before she reached over to Duskpaw and licked him between the ears. "Now hold still will ya, then when I'm done with you I'll get Wolfpaw." She muttered. "And don't think I won't," she added as she glanced at her friend, albeit a bit playfully. Returning to Duskpaw she found his fur was certainly matted. 'A little help would be nice you know,' she murmured in his mind.

Eaglestar hopped down from the tree, heading towards the kittypets. She nodded in greeting. "My name is Eaglestar." she introduced herself. "Leader of SunClan. What brings you three here?"

(I'm not going to be able to post much today.)

"Oh... Shadowpaw, this is Misty. She my sister." She mewed with a purr in her chest,"Anyways, have you seen Eaglestar? We can't find her anywhere." 'Songpaw sounds tired, and I'm abit tired myself.' Misty was clearly in thought.

"Oh, well I think she-" Shadowpaw is interrupted by Eaglestar's voice. He listens to her words intently and nods at the order of no cat leaving the camp, as if it was said specifically to him. He did feel guilty for leaving with Songpaw once..he knew that he wasn't supposed to. Shadowpaw's ears flatten against his head in shame, and stands up tiredly. "It's nice to meet you Misty! Well, it's great that you have a sister, Songpaw!" he comments happily. "You're luckier than you know." Shadowpaw steps out of the small makeshift den and bounds over to grab a piece of fresh-kill...or...more like 'kill, for what he was going to get. The freshest are for the ones who need it, and the leftovers are for me. The apprentice really didn't mind, because he didn't see much of a difference in smell or taste. He sort of liked it, in fact. So, Shadowpaw picked out a small mouse, that seemed to be looked over by the others. He took it to a shadier spot near the tree and started wolfing down his mouse. It really wasn't that bad. It was small and a bi shriveled up, but it was still quite tasty. Not rotten, not fabulous, just decent. Maybe we can meet everyone else today. They might be a bit busy with their wounds, but we could still say hi. He decided to go see them once he was finished eating.

Fluffy was happy to finally meet the leader. "Well our home was burned in the fire, our housefolk died. We've been wandering through the woods for a quarter moon and we ended up here. One of the cats here explained to us a little about your clan and w-we'd like to join.."

Eaglestar nodded. When he'd finished, she spoke. "You should understand that this is a hard time for the clan. We have lost our home, and many of our clanmates. We're searching for a new home, but it hasn't been easy." She blinked, watching him closely. "And being a clan cat isn't an easy life at the best of times. A warrior puts the clan before himself, and must be willing to die to protect his clanmates. He must follow the warrior code, and his leader. A kittypet like you would have a lot to learn." She smiled slightly. "There are advantages, of course. There is strength in numbers, and those in a clan support one another. Still, I suggest you talk to your friends and think on this. Be sure this is really what you want before you make your choice. You may stay with us for the night, regardless; it's dangerous out there. In the morning, you can come to me with your decision."

Fluffy nodded, "Where should we sleep for the night?" The she cats words repeated in his mind, it was so much to take in.
