I gratefully accepted the lovely, warm drink, considering her anguished words. "Scarlett Pearls? The stuck-up gossipy one?" I mused. It figured. "Maybe... she's lying?" I questioned hopefully, smiling slightly. I hoped that was the case, but it probably wasn't.
