It'd been said mates should wait until late leaf-fall or leaf-bare before deciding to try for kits. They'd be born in the warm seasons and grown enough to were cold wouldn't kill them. "Might help you cool down if you let some fur go."

She knew talking to Snowpaw would be difficult if the she-cat really did suffer a kind of memory loss, but Lightningstar would have to let them go if they worked something out.
