"Oh, I was talking to Duskshadow," she explained. "I got this leg by falling out of a tree. I'm still lucky not to have it be worse, though." "But you're right, she added. "Dogs are awful."

[effervescence]

Flowerpelt: "Sorry. I was including myself in the conversation. " She says sheepishly. "It's kind of hard to get whats happening in the clan when you're in here taking care of sick cats." She shrugs.

[watchdog.]

"That's ok," Flamespots said. "Can we get my leg over with now?" she asked timidly.

She pushes it back in with a loud pop

Duskshadow sighed. "I killed the dog." He said, and dead-panned. He was remembering.

Duskshadow padded into his den, whom he shared with Sheila(His mate), Herrow(His son), Burning Flower(His daughter), And Deep(His sister). "Daddy!" Came a voice from the corner. "Yes Darling?" He answered spinning to face Burning Flower. "I cawt a froggie today!" She mewed happily, a big smile on her face. "Aww! Good job!" He responded, laughing. "But you need to get to sleep, we have a big day tomorrow. Just then Sheila entered the room. "Uh huh." She said, and smiled. "Were going on an adventure!" She laughed. "Yes! We get to travel to a special place, where we can talk to Teal." Duskshadow said. Teal was their grandmother who had passed away one and a half moons ago. "But mommy.. " Said Burning Flower. "Shes dead.." A small tear rolled down her cheek. Duskshadow nuzzled her. "Honey, in this place we can TALK to our passed away friend who have died." He smiled, and licked her forehead. Just then he heard Deep rush in the back entrance. "DUSKSHADOW!" She yowled. "THERE ARE DOGS OUTSIDE! THEY CHASED ME BACK HERE!" She screamed. Just then they all heard barking and tearing of flesh, from right outside. "WHERES HERROW?!" Duskshadow shouted. "I TOLD HIM TO GO OUTSIDE!" Sheila answered, tears brimming in her eyes, and fear lancing her scent. Duskshadow relized his son was dead, he yowled a mourning sound. "WE HAVE TO GET HER-" He flicked his tail at Burning Flower- "TO SAFETY!" HE shouted, he could smell the dogs rancid stench. Sheila was paralyzed on the spot. She couldn't move. "COME ON!" Shouted Duskshadow and grabbed his daughters scruff and pelted towards the third exit. Sheila soon ran after him, followed by Deep. Right as they neared the entrance the dogs caught on to there plan, they camped at the exit waiting for them to come out. Right as Duskshadow emerged a dog grabbed him and flung him to the side, he lost his grip on his daughter and yowled in pain. Sheila's eyes grew wide as a dog bit her neck and flung her to another like prey. "SHEILA!" Duskshadow mewed, franticly. "DuskSHA-" Her scream was cut of as a dog bit her neck and cut her life-force off. FOREVER. Duskshadow didn't have time to think as his Daughter yelled. "DADDY!" She screamed as a dog came at her. NO NOT BURNING FLOWER. NOT MY DAUGHTER. He thought, then ran towards her to save her, but two dogs came from behind and nipped his legs, there were just too many... This was his death. RIGHT here. Then his daughter looked him in the eyes, as if to say. Its not your fault. It was that mouse-brained sister of yours, leading them here. He liked to think. Then it snapped her neck and she lost her beautiful look. Duskshadow turned to the dogs behind him, there was NO WAY he was to live. But he batted the dogs away and ran towards where his sister had been, but.. all that was left was a mangled body. He Yowled, and pelted away, the only thing he could think of was to run.

Flamespots shrieked with pain, but then it slowly faded away, leaving a dull ache. She sighed. "Thank you Flowerpelt," she murmured. She curled up in a ball and tried to get some sleep. First thing in the morning she was going after Orangetail and Wolfcry.
