Hibiscus perched upon a high branch of a maple tree, the leaves concealing her. She peered at the group of cats on a large grassy hill. What clan is that now? Her lip curled back, revealing razor-sharp teeth. The she-cat slithered down the thick trunk of the tree, emerald eyes nothing but slits. Hibiscus stalked forward, observing them, the undergrowth still covering her from view. Just a tail-length or two away the forest turned into a valley with rolling hills. On one of those hills sat the members of TideClan. Why are they so close to MY territory?! What happened to them living with the fish or whatever? For all I know, they'll be bringing their stinkin' fish breath into my territory or scare all the prey away. Hibiscus bit her lip. She would have to drive the clan away before they made themselves comfortable... too comfortable.

Ripplestripe nodded in agreement. "Me too," he spoke quietly, turning to look up at the darkening sky.

Mapleshadow shivered as a wind whipped through her fur. She lost herself in thought again as she stared out at the whitecaps on the waves surrounding the hill, and absentmindedly began to lick her paw and swipe it over her ear.

History: The daughter of the kittypet Alaska and her mate Stoneclaw, Orangeflame was orphaned in the nursery when her mother went back to her twolegs. She was adopted by another queen who had just had a litter of kits, but never really considered her her mother. She fell in love with a loner almost as soon as she became a warrior, and she was expecting his kits not long after. She's due to have her kits any day now.
